Abstract

With the rise of importance of digital platform use, social media interaction and online consumer activities in decision-making and brand perception processes, Electronic Word-of-Mouth (e-WOM) becomes one of the active fields for scholarly investigations. In order to study the intellectual structure, research development and trends in e-WOM literature, the present study used a bibliometric analysis method. The data was gathered from academic database entries of scientific publications and were analyzed using bibliometric methods, such as citation analysis, co-authorship analysis, keyword co-occurrence analysis, thematic mapping and trends analysis. It was found out that the research on e-WOM was gradually shifting from the issues of consumer motivation, online reviews, and credibility of information towards more general issues like social media, user generated content, purchase intention, brand image and digital consumer behavior. Citation analysis allows identifying fundamental research papers that shaped this field to a great extent, especially in terms of e-WOM adoption, credibility and consumer involvement in it. The cooperation analysis shows that despite the global development of e-WOM research, the fragmentation of authorship, institutionality and inter-country collaboration still exists. Additionally, the thematic evolution proves that modern researches in the area of e-WOM is gradually shifting towards the issues of digital platforms, social media marketing, sentiment analysis and data-driven consumer insights. The present study provides a comprehensive look into the evolution and knowledge base of e-WOM research and defines the possible directions of future research related to artificial intelligence, influencer communication, recommendation algorithms and digital trust.

Abstract

Behavioral finance has emerged as an important research domain that challenges traditional financial theories by emphasizing the role of psychological factors, cognitive biases, and human behavior in financial decision-making. This study aims to map the intellectual structure, research development, influential contributions, and future research directions of behavioral finance literature using a bibliometric analysis approach. Data were collected from the Scopus database using relevant keywords related to behavioral finance and analyzed through VOSviewer to examine publication trends, citation performance, author collaboration networks, country collaboration patterns, and keyword co-occurrence structures. The findings indicate that behavioral finance research has experienced significant growth and has been primarily shaped by influential studies focusing on behavioral biases, investor psychology, financial literacy, and market anomalies. The citation analysis identifies Barberis and Thaler (2003), Shiller (2003), Hirshleifer (2015), and Ritter (2003) as among the most influential contributions in establishing the theoretical foundation of the field. The collaboration analysis demonstrates that the United States, China, and India play central roles in global research networks, while keyword analysis reveals the dominance of themes related to behavioral finance, investments, financial decision-making, and risk perception. Furthermore, emerging research trends indicate a growing integration between behavioral finance and digital transformation, including artificial intelligence, big data, cryptocurrency, electronic trading, and sustainable finance. This study contributes to the literature by providing a comprehensive overview of the evolution of behavioral finance and identifying potential future research directions toward technology-driven and interdisciplinary financial behavior studies.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Strategic Human Resource Business Partner (Strategic HRBP) and managerial competencies in improving HR management effectiveness in manufacturing companies in Karawang, West Java. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design was employed. Data were collected from 135 respondents working in manufacturing companies using a structured questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 through descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, Pearson correlation, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination. The results show that Strategic HRBP has a positive and significant effect on HR management effectiveness. Managerial competencies also have a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence HR management effectiveness, as indicated by F = 70.501 and p < 0.001. The model explains 51.6% of the variance in HR management effectiveness (R² = 0.516). Managerial competencies show a slightly stronger contribution than Strategic HRBP. These findings indicate that effective HR management in manufacturing organizations requires both strategic integration of the HR function and competent managerial execution. Strengthening HR business partnering and managerial capabilities can therefore support more responsive, strategically aligned, and effective human resource management.
