Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and financial self-efficacy on the financial management behavior of working mothers (working moms) in Ungaran Timur Sub-district, Semarang Regency. The population comprised all women identified as working moms in the sub-district, whose exact number is unknown; a sample of 80 respondents was determined using the Roscoe formula and selected through accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS. The results show that financial literacy (β = 0.362; sig = 0.005), financial inclusion (β = 0.322; sig = 0.022), and financial self-efficacy (β = 0.725; sig = 0.000) each have a positive and significant partial effect on financial management behavior, with the three variables jointly explaining 55.7 percent of its variance (Adjusted R Square). Financial self-efficacy was found to be the most dominant factor. These findings underline the importance of strengthening financial confidence, expanding access to formal financial services, and improving financial knowledge to support healthier financial management behavior among working mothers.
