Abstract

The activities of loading andesite material from the stockpile to dump trucks at the crushing plant unit pose significant occupational accident risks, such as falling material, heavy equipment collisions, and dust from processing, necessitating a measurable implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This study aims to analyze the implementation of OHSMS with a focus on the creation and execution of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) as an instrument for accident prevention during loading activities at PT Anugrah Langeng Mukti. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through field observations, interviews, and documentation to map work stages starting from unit preparation and equipment maneuvering to material loading. Based on the analysis, hazard identification indicates critical risk potentials during the loading phase and reversing maneuvers of heavy equipment, which require strict control in the form of standard operating procedures, complete personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and continuous supervision. The conclusion of this study shows that the OHSMS implementation based on JSA is functioning well but still requires optimization in regular hazard socialization for operators to minimize human error. This strategy is expected to enhance the effectiveness of labor protection and operational smoothness in the crushing plant area.
