Abstract

Teachers and parents are now required to master digital literacy and the use of technologyin all aspects, including education. This study aims todetermine how teachers and parents develop technology-based learningto improve student motivation. The approach used isdescriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews,observations, and documentation. The collected data was then analyzed using the Miles and Hubberman method, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study identifies four roles of teachers andparents in technology-based learning management as an effort toincrease student motivation to learn, namely time management, management of theuse of educational applications and games, management of the use of gadgets, and management of creative tasks. The novelty ofthis study lies in the policy of learning management usingdigital technology. This study highlights the impact of the roles of teachers andparents in providing space for the use and management of technologyto students. With this study, it is hoped that teachers and parents willunderstand and implement appropriate policies in using technology,as an effort to increase student motivation to learn.
