Abstract

This study aimed to develop local-wisdom-based flashcards for Pancasila Education and determine their validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Buoyant Montessori School. The study employed Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product consisted of 17 flashcards measuring 10 × 15 cm, containing illustrations of Indonesian cultural diversity, brief materials, stimulating questions, and reinforcement of Pancasila values related to Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The product was tested through a small-scale trial involving six students and a large-scale trial involving experimental and control groups. Data were collected through expert validation, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pretest-posttest assessments. Media expert validation obtained 92.86%, while material expert validation obtained 100%, both categorized as very valid. Teacher and student responses reached 98% and 98.55%, respectively, both categorized as very practical. The hypothesis test produced a significance value of 0.000. The experimental group obtained an N-Gain of 0.79 (high), while the control group obtained 0.51 (medium). Therefore, the flashcards were valid, practical, and effective for improving Pancasila Education learning outcomes.
