Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran terpadu di kampus pendidikan guru sekolah dasar (PGSD) Universitas Nusa Cedana perlu ditingkatkan. Kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada matakuliah pembelajaran terpadu menjadi dasar penelitian ini. Mata kuliah pembelajaran terpadu sebagai acuan mahasiswa belajar kurikulum 2013. Penelitian eksperimen akan dilakukan dengan pembelajaran model think pair share (TPS). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas dalam pembelajaran meliputi perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini uji normalitas data dengan SPSS 21 Perolehan hasil uji normalitas data nilai pretest kelas kontrol dan eksperimen adalah signifikan hasil belajar 0,334>0,05 menunjukan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Pada uji homogenitas data nilai preetest kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,808>0,05 maka Ho diterima atau kedua kelompok mempunyai varian yang sama (varian datanya homogen). Hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mahasiswa setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan model think pair share bahwa hasil signifikansi 0,000< 0,005 bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Hal ini berrarti setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model think pair share, ternyata perolehan nilai posttest (nilai hasil belajar) kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelompok kontrol. Jadi disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata nilai posttest antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol.

Abstract

Keterbatasan pertemuan dosen dan mahasiswa menjadi masalah penting di era ini. Dosen tidak dapat bertemu dengan mahasiswa, hal ini terjadi karena perkembangan virus COVID-19 yang menjadi ancaman. Akan tetapi kegiatan perkuliahan harus tetap dilaksanakan. Pembelajaran menggunakan edmodo menjadi salah satu jalan keluarnya. Matakuliah belajar pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan aplikasi edmodo. Matakuliah ini merupakan matakuliah dasar yang harus dikuasai mahasiswa PGSD. Sebagai calon guru mahasiswa harus menguasai teori-teori belajar yang ada dalam matakuliah belajar pembelajaran. embelajaran dengan edmodo mendapatkan hasil penelitian yang efektif. Hasil tersebut didapatkan dari analisis data yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti. Analisis data dimulai dari uji validitas dan reliabilitas, dan mendapatkan hasil bahwa semua soal yang digunakan untuk penelitian dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian yang efektif dianalisis menggunakan uji T dan uji N-Gain. Uji T mendapatkan hasil 0,000<0,005 hal ini berarti Ha diterima yaitu ada perbedaan nilai pretest dan posttest setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan edmodo. Uji N-Gain mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 0,491 berada pada kategori sedang. Dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran dengan edmodo dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of model learning problem based learning in citizenship education of national integrity material to students critical thinking ability. This research uses a quantitative approach. Sample determination using random sampling clusters. This study was imposed on students of the second semester of primary school teacher Education Program, Nusa Cendana University. The selected sample is Class II A as an experimental class of 24 students and class II B as a control class as many as 25 students. The instrument used in the form of observation guidelines and a test is about the description to measure the student's critical thinking ability. Data obtained in the form of pretests and posttest values. The Data was analyzed using SPSS 16.0 to see test normality and test homogeneity as prerequisite test then continued with Test T. Results obtained from the test of normality (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test) is the value of Sig 0138 (> 0.05) which shows the sample data derived from the population of normal and homogeneity test (test Levene) is 0322 (> 0.05) which shows the value of Posttest uniform and the significance value of T-Test 0.000 (< 0.05 Learning problem based learning on the ability of critical thinking.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of online learning with an Android-based digital mind mapping model on the learning outcomes of UNDANA PGSD students. Quantitative method was used in this study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Hypothesis testing of cognitive learning outcomes using the T test with the help of the SPSS 22 program. The results showed that there was an effect of applying the Android-based digital mind mapping model to the cognitive domain learning outcomes of 6th semester PGSD UNDANA students, because the value of sig 2 tailed 0.000 < 0.05 then there was the difference in values before and after learning is carried out using a digital android-based mind mapping model (the android-based digital mind mapping model applied by the lecturer was successful).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effects of the Project Based Learning model on students' creative thinking skills in Civics subject on Concepts, Values, Morals and Norms topic. This is a quantitative research, using a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. Subjects of this research were 74 second year students in class A and B of Elementary School Teacher Education Program, Nusa Cendana University. Results were analyzed and tested for its t value through independent sample t test using IBM SPSS Statistics v.16 for Windows. Data analysis result showed that the value of independent sample t-test was 0.020 <0.05. This indicated that there was no enough evidence to accept Ho. Therefore, it could be concluded that there was a positive and significant effect of project based learning model on creative thinking skills in Civics subject comprising Concepts, Values, Morals and Norm material of PGSD Students at Nusa Cendana University, Kupang.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the difficulty of students in solving mathematical problems of geometric materials in view of the student's mathematical abilities. Description of the student's difficulties can help the teacher as information to provide solutions in overcoming the difficulties of students in solving geometry problems. This research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was imposed on students of class VIII of State Junior High School I Amanuban Barat. The sample in the study was 3 students with high, moderate and low ability. Samples are taken using purposive sampling techniques. Data retrieval techniques use observations, interviews and geometric material troubleshooting tests. Data analysis techniques use qualitative data analysis. The results showed that highly capable students have difficulty in re-examining the results of problem solving, students are having difficulty in determining the strategy to be used, using those strategies to solve problems and re-examine the results of solving the problem. Furthermore, low-skilled students have difficulties ranging from understanding problems, determining settlement strategies, using settlement strategies and re-examining the solving of mathematical problems. This is because learners do not understand the concept of geometry, are not used to practicing problem solving problems that result in students not having strategies in solving mathematical problems encountered. Furthermore, the advice that can be given is that teachers need to map the difficulty of solving problems in each existing material so as to help teachers and students in overcoming difficulties solving math problems.

Abstract

Numeracy ability is one of the abilities that students need to have to be able to overcome problems related to mathematical logic. The results of the PISA survey stated that Indonesia is classified as a country with the numeracy ability of students that has not been maximized. Meanwhile, to be more specific, the numeracy ability of students in areas spread throughout Indonesia is not clearly known. This research method is quantitative research, with a survey type. The subjects in this study were 364 students from elementary schools spread across Kupang City. Data collection was carried out using test techniques with a total of 15 numeracy test questions. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics so that the average and distribution of the frequency of numeracy skills of students in elementary schools in Kupang City was known based on the level of their levels. The results showed that as many as 157 students or 45.35% had numeracy skills at level 3, namely being able to choose and apply simple problem-solving strategies; 143 respondents or 41.33% have numeracy skills at level 2, namely being able to use formulas, carry out procedures or agreements in solving problems; and the remaining 46 respondents or 13.29% have numeracy skills in Level 1 is being able to identify information and complete routine procedures according to clear instructions for the situation

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning achievement of class V students on theme 9 Water Cycle at SDI Naikoten 1 Kupang. The type of research used is classroom action research consisting of four steps, namely: design, implementation, observation, and test and evaluation. This research was attended by 25 fifth-grade students, 15 male students and 10 female students. Data collection was carried out through observation and experimental techniques. The information obtained is then processed and analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. This research was conducted at SDI Naikoten 1 Kupang. Data is collected through observation and tests. The information obtained was then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research results showed that in cycle I, only 5 out of 25 students (around 20%) completed the initial test. Meanwhile, around 80% or 20 students failed to complete the assignment at that stage. In cycle II, 24 out of 25 students (around 96%) successfully completed the assignment, while only 1 student (around 4%) did not successfully complete the assignment. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the application of image-based and experimental learning models in class 9 can improve the learning outcomes of class V students at SDI Naikoten 1 Kupang.

Abstract

The independent learning campus policy is designed to help students explore their creativity and excel in various fields. The Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program as one of the implementers of the independent campus, especially the “kampus mengajar” program, makes a real, full contribution. Starting from the pioneering “kampus mengajar”, there were 59 students. The topic of this research is the implementation of the independent learning policy on the teaching campus at PGSD, Nusa Cendana University. The purpose of this study was to see the achievements of PGSD at Nusa Cendana University in terms of teaching campus policies. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. Procedures for collecting information through interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Data analysis Milles and Huberman methods include summarization, analysis, and inference. The results showed that students were skilled in the aspect of explaining skills very well, in the skill aspect of carrying out learning variations, guiding discussions, and teaching in small groups and individually the skills of students were identified as good. Therefore, students need knowledge, understanding, and application of basic teaching skills in order to carry out their duties properly at school. This can be owned by students by maximizing their potential and the provision provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture before assignments in the field. The role of Field Supervisors in this case is also needed to monitor and evaluate students during the program. Synergy between students and Field Supervisors is needed in terms of improving the basic teaching skills possessed by students participating in “kampus mengajar”.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SD Inpres Naimata, Kupang City, with the aim of improving student learning outcomes regarding theme 2, sub-theme 1, learning 3 through the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model. The research method used is classroom action research. Data collection techniques are observation, test and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative by looking for the percentage of data that has been collected and then clarifying it into a predetermined formula, with the research results showing that the data from observations of teacher activity in cycle I was with a value of 65.27 and cycle II with a value of 95.83%. , while the results of observations of student activities in cycle I with an average value of 66.59% and cycle II with an average value of 82.81%. In the first cycle of learning, there were 22 students who completed or met the specified KKM standards, namely 75, 8 students (36.36%) while 14 students (63.64%) did not complete. Furthermore, in cycle II, from 22 students, 22 students completed it (100%). Based on the research results, it was concluded that the STAD type cooperative learning model could improve student learning outcomes at SD Inpres Naimata, Kupang City.
