Abstract

General Background Educational institutions implement various programs such as intracurricular and extracurricular activities to educate, foster, and build positive habits for students. Specific Background The independent curriculum introduces the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) program alongside extracurricular activities to shape student character across planned dimensions. Knowledge Gap Although schools manage intracurricular and extracurricular systems, poor communication, consultation, and coordination among staff, coaches, trainers, and student organization members often obstruct program goals. Aims This literature review aims to explain the management relationship pattern between the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project and extracurricular activities to support student character development. Results The findings indicate that management relationship patterns operate through lines of instruction, coordination, and consultation involving principals, teachers, homeroom teachers, and student organizations (OSIS). Novelty This study consolidates literature from 2021-2023 to map out specific management patterns—such as coordinator-facilitator teams and block-system scheduling—linking project management with extracurricular structures. Implications Implementing periodic monitoring and evaluation ensures that these management relationship patterns function effectively as instruments for student character development. Highlights: Project management patterns link intracurricular and extracurricular frameworks through structured lines of instruction, coordination, and consultation among all involved stakeholders. Character formation requires systematic monitoring and evaluation over specific timeframes to ensure program execution matches institutional expectations. Collaborative school management involves principals, teachers, homeroom teachers, and student organization members to cultivate student discipline and noble character. Abstract

General Background Educational supervision operates as a fundamental instrument to monitor learning achievements and shape student character within Islamic primary institutions. Specific Background Implementation at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Zamzam Sukodono involves periodic administrative and academic evaluations conducted twice annually by school leadership. Knowledge Gap Existing literature lacks comprehensive insight into how collaborative supervisory frameworks specifically resolve internal coordination barriers and infrastructure constraints. Aims This study investigates the role of supervision as a strategic approach to improve educational quality and identifies supporting and inhibiting factors. Results Qualitative findings reveal that systematic supervision successfully upgraded curriculum management, learning processes, administrative services, and school infrastructure. Novelty The research demonstrates that leadership-driven collaborative supervision directly mitigates institutional constraints through structured planning, classroom observation, and reflective evaluation. Implications Educational institutions must integrate collaborative supervisory practices with enhanced stakeholder coordination to achieve optimal institutional standards and sustainable academic development. Key Findings Highlights Systematic supervision execution by school leadership significantly drives improvements across curriculum management, learning processes, and administrative services. Collaborative planning, classroom observation, and reflective evaluation serve as core mechanisms for maintaining educator professionalism. Insufficient coordination spaces and limited facility infrastructure represent primary internal obstacles to optimizing supervisory execution. Abstract

General Background: Reading literacy remains a challenge for students in rural madrasahs, particularly those with limited early stimulation and learning support. Specific Background: MI Fajrul Islam 02 Pulo implements Student Need Care (SNC) to support lower-grade students through additional reading assistance. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies discuss remedial reading and periodic evaluation, but limited research describes SNC implementation in rural madrasahs. Aims: This study analyzes SNC implementation, identifies challenges, and evaluates its contribution to students’ reading development. Results: Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving seven purposively selected informants. SNC uses initial assessment, student grouping, phonics, multisensory activities, repeated practice, and extra reading time. Weekly and monthly evaluations guide instructional adjustments and parent coordination. Novelty: The study provides an empirical account of SNC implementation in a rural madrasah. Implications: Sustained evaluation, teacher flexibility, and stronger school–home communication are needed to support literacy development. Key Findings Highlights Initial assessment guides student grouping by reading ability. Multisensory practice supports gradual reading development. Weekly and monthly evaluations guide instructional adjustments. Keywords : Student Need Care, Reading Literacy, Early Reading, Rural Madrasah, Literacy Intervention
