Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Tasmi’ method in improving the quality of students memorization. This research place in school MI Mumtaza Islamic School Pondok Cabe Udik. The main data source is Head of tahfizh, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Tahfizh Teacher, and students of the class V MI Mumtaza Islamic School Pondok Cabe Udik. This research is motivated by the existence of the Tasmi’ program which is implemented in schools MI Mumtaza Islamic School. The teacher provides a special method so that students do not feel bored when memorizing the Qur’an. The method applied is the Tasmi’ method to train students in repeating rote memorization. The Tasmi’ method is a way to expedite memorization and sharpen memorization. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection teachniques by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data display (presentation of data), and make decisions. The result of this study indicate that the implementation of the Tasmi’ program is very useful and able to improve the quality of students memorization. Even though there are many obstacles at the technical level, with the existence of this Tasmi’ program students can istiqamah in reviewing their memorization, either memorizing new material or memorizing old material.

Abstract

In this modern era, students' religious behavior has decreased such as their religious activities, morals, and ways of looking. School rules based on religious values are one of the efforts in shaping students' religious behavior. The purpose of this study was to find out how to approach the formation of students' religious behavior through school rules. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection using observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the approach to shaping students' religious behavior through school rules at SMP IT Cahaya Islam Buaran South Tangerang works well by providing experiences such as manners, obligatory congregational prayers and sunnah. Habituation to perform obligations repeatedly. Provide examples such as obeying prayers, dressing, and manners. Emotional approach with religious studies. Rational approach with understanding through tausiyah. A functional approach with examples, direction, and knowledge. This approach is applied through school rules in the form of obligations, prohibitions and sanctions.

Abstract

Character education is an integral part of the educational process that aims to shape students into individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also have strong morals and ethics. This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping the character of honesty in class VIII. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were the principal, an Islamic Religious Education teacher, and 4 students. Data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection techniques were analyzed using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping the character of honesty of 8th-grade students at Al-Kamiliyyah Boarding School Junior High School went well. In addition, the use of educational media and facilities is an important communication tool that increases the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The background of the research is based on the rapid development of technological times, now digital technology has entered various aspects of life, including the world of education. Now digital learning media is one of the new innovations applied by MTs Pembangunan Jakarta in increasing student interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the use of digital learning media in increasing student interest in learning at MTs Pembangunan Jakarta. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of the Principal, Deputy Principal of the Curriculum Section, Akidah Akhlak Teacher, 4 students of class VII MTs Pembangunan Jakarta. Data collection techniques through field observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the perception of the use of digital learning media at MTs Pembangunan Jakarta can increase students' interest in learning, this can be achieved through the relevance of the use of digital learning media running with the presence of competent teachers in teaching, by operating digital learning provides convenience and also the availability of complete infrastructure facilities, in addition to providing advantages and benefits, of course there are also disadvantages such as signal networks, and teachers who are stuttering in technology. Apart from the shortcomings in the use of digital media, digital learning can make students feel happy because teachers can design attractive teaching materials such as with E-Modules in the SmartMP application, learning with tablets and televisions makes students more focused and attentive to the teacher, involving students in learning such as making groups, discussions, making students more active in learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact many students still experience difficulties in understanding the material due to inappropriate use of learning media. The purpose of this research is to determine the use of crossword puzzle media in improving students' critical thinking skills in Fiqh subjects at MI Mumtaza Pondok Cabe. This research using qualitative descriptive research. Primary data sources for this research are school principals, PAI teachers, and class 5 students at MI Mumtaza Pondok Cabe. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the using of crossword puzzles in learning works well and effectively improves students' critical thinking skills. This is supported by the application aspect of the media, namely suitability to the objectives, the crossword puzzle media helps students achieve. Appropriateness: This media is suitable for use in jurisprudence subjects. In terms of students' condition, students can solve crossword puzzles well. The research results show that the use of crossword puzzles is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. This media is appropriate to the learning objectives, appropriate for fiqh lessons, and students can complete it well. The infrastructure at the school is adequate, and there are no additional costs for its construction. The teacher provides clear explanations of the steps before students work, and students understand the material better after using this media. Crossword media can also hone critical thinking skills through interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation and self-regulation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh tantangan baru dalam dunia Pendidikan, dimana peserta didik dituntut memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, kolaboratif, dan komunikatif. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diterapkan adalah pendekatan yang inovatif, yaitu pendekatan STEAMMI. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi peserta didik dalam berpikir kritis dan menyelesaikan masalah secara kreatif dan kolaboratif dengan landasan nilai-nilai Islami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan pendekatan STEAMMI dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik di SDIT Al-Hamidiyah Sawangan Depok. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari delapan informan, yaitu: Wakil Kepala Bidang Kurikulum, Koordinator STEAMMI, dua Guru, serta empat peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan STEAMMI terdapat lima tahapan, yaitu: pengamatan, ide baru, inovasi, kreasi, dan nilai. Penerapan pendekatan STEAMMI terbukti meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik, dalam beberapa aspek, yaitu: aspek berdiri sendiri, peserta didik menunjukkan ketepatan waktu dalam penyelesaian tugas; aspek menyelesaikan masalah, peserta didik menemukan berbagai solusi dan keputusan yang tepat; aspek tanggung jawab, peserta didik menunjukkan kepemimpinan dan berkolaborasi secara aktif dalam proyek STEAMMI; aspek inisiatif dan kreativitas, peserta didik membuat proyek STEAMMI yang inovatif dan kreatif.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decline in student character caused by the Distance Learning System (PJJ) during the Covid-19 pandemic. To address this issue, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Mendikbudristek) launched the Merdeka Curriculum along with its innovation, the Project Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5). The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of P5 in shaping student character at MTsN 12 Jakarta. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the implementation of P5 involves three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. During the planning stage, the formation of the P5 facilitator team, school readiness assessment, design of dimensions, themes, and time allocation, as well as the preparation of modules and reporting strategies, were carried out. The implementation stage includes monitoring, optimization, and project closure activities. Evaluation is conducted through two-way discussions, observation, and the use of rubrics and questionnaires. The P5 activities have successfully shaped various student characters, such as being religious, nationalist, independent, cooperative, and having integrity, which are reflected in their daily activities.
