Abstract

Tuberculosis remains a global health problem due to an increasing number of tuberculosis cases, the high dropout rate of tuberculosis treatment, and the increase in cases of drug-resistant tuberculosis. Support both from family and the community as a health care worker who monitors and observes whether the tuberculosis drugs are taken correctly by the patients. This community service aims to empower the community by providing health care providers or supervisors with guidance on taking tuberculosis medicine. The community services are carried out by conducting socialization, focus group discussions, counseling, and training. The average analysis of the partner's pre-test score was 30, with the lowest score being 20 and the highest score being 40. The post-test score was 83.3, with the lowest score being 70 and the highest score being 90. The average increase in partners has exceeded the target of > 70, and the growth has occurred in all partners (100%). The assessment of role-playing skills as a TB PMO officer showed a 70% increase in skills among partners. The need to form a supervisor to take medication for tuberculosis patients is a must in the elimination of tuberculosis disease.
