Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model supported by the wayground learning platform on the learning outcomes of tenth-grade students at State Senior High School 8 Tasikmalaya. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. The population consisted of all tenth-grade students totaling 490 students. The samples were selected using a non-probability sampling technique, resulting in Class X-5 as the experimental class and Class X-6 as the control class. The collected data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests as prerequisite tests, followed by hypothesis testing using the t-test. The findings revealed that the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class who were taught using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model supported by the wayground learning platform were higher than those of students in the control class who received conventional instruction. Therefore, the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model supported by wayground positively affected students’ learning outcomes in Economics, particularly on the topic of Financial Institutions in Indonesia

Abstract

. Inadequate family support and a lack of intrinsic learning drive are factors that potentially hinder students from achieving maximum learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of family environment and learning motivation, both partially and simultaneously, on student learning achievement in the Economics subject at SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya. The study employed a quantitative survey method with an explanatory design. The population consisted of 188 Grade XI Economics students, all of whom were included as the sample through a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 31. The results indicate that: (1) family environment has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement (t = 4.925; p < 0.001; SE = 14.42%); (2) learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement and is the most dominant predictor (t = 11.189; p < 0.001; β = 0.602; SE = 43.65%); and (3) both variables simultaneously exert a positive and significant effect (F = 127.917; p < 0.001; R² = 0.580). These findings affirm that improving student learning achievement requires synergy between optimizing the family environment as a psychological ecosystem and strengthening learning motivation as the students' internal driver

Abstract

The notion to try to establish a learning approach that encourages students to actively ask questions arose from the fact that students were not asking many questions during sessions. The primary focus of this study is the economic learning outcomes of students. The goal of this study is to ascertain whether learning outcomes have improved and to compare learning outcomes before and after the intervention in the experimental class using the "questions students have" learning model and the control class using the traditional learning model. This research was carried out at SMAN 1 Langkaplancar. The quasi-experimental approach was the research methodology employed. Purposive sampling was used to choose 72 students in the 10th grade at SMAN 1 Langkaplancar for the study sample. A 60-item multiple-choice test served as the study's instrument. With a significance threshold of 5% (0.005), data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 25, specifically the paired-sample and independent-sample t-tests. A Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.010 was determined based on the study findings. The experimental class, which used the "question student have" learning model, and the control class, which used the conventional learning model, had different student learning outcomes following the instructional treatment, as indicated by the Sig. (2-tailed) value being less than 0.05.
