Abstract

Arabic language learning plays an important role in Islamic education because it supports students’ ability to understand religious sources and develop academic competence. However, students’ achievement in Arabic is influenced by both internal and external factors, including learning interest, learning facilities, and educational costs. This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of learning interest, learning facilities, and educational costs on Arabic learning achievement among students at SMAS IT Wahdah Islamiyah Gowa. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed with a population of 105 students and a sample of 84 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and academic documentation and analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS. The results show that learning interest has a positive and significant effect on Arabic learning achievement, as do learning facilities and educational costs. Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly influence Arabic learning achievement and explain 71.5% of its variance. Learning facilities emerge as the relatively dominant predictor. These findings imply that improving Arabic learning achievement requires an integrated strategy that strengthens students’ learning interest, optimizes learning facilities, and manages educational costs effectively to support the quality of the learning process.
