Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the use of teaching aids in science subjects on the subject of plant parts in class IV students at SD Negeri Juanga. The type of recearsh used in this research is the Classroom Action Research Method which we know as PTK. This Recearsh consists of two cycles and in general there are four stages, namely (1) Planning, (2) Implementation (action), observation (observing), and reflection (reflecting). Based on data analysis and discussion, the conclusion that can be draw from this research is that the use oh the teaching aids approach can improve the learing outcomes of fourth grade elementary scool students in the material parts of plants. In cycle I there were 10 student who completed and 12 students who did not complete, while in cycle II there were 18 students who completed and 4 students did not complete. This research was no longer continued in the next cycle og cycle III because in cycle II had met the predetermined standards so that the 4 students who did not complete weew onl given remedial material.
