Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen professional work culture, human resource management, and data-informed decision making among local MSME actors in Bantar Agung Tourism Village, Sindangwangi, Majalengka. The program was conducted on 8 May 2026 at the Bantar Agung Village Office Hall with 20 MSME participants. A community development approach was implemented through needs assessment, interactive workshops, direct mentoring, and evaluation. Training covered 5R workplace practices, service excellence, role allocation, simple digital recordkeeping, and the use of tourism visit trends for operational decisions. The activities strengthened participants’ understanding of professional work behavior, clarified production-finance-marketing responsibilities, and increased awareness of using business records for production, inventory, and pricing decisions. The program also encouraged simple visual SOPs and routine digital financial records. Because numerical pre-test/post-test scores were not documented, outcomes are reported descriptively. Overall, integrating work culture, HR strategy, and simple data use provides a practical foundation for strengthening MSME competitiveness in tourism villages.
