Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve the competencies of physical education teachers and enhance students’ learning motivation through the collaboration of bilingual digital media (Indonesian–English) based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning at MIS Nurul Huda Central Bengkulu. The participants consisted of two physical education teachers and 30 fifth-grade students. The identified problems included limited use of interactive digital learning media, low utilization of AI applications in physical education learning, and the suboptimal use of bilingual sports vocabulary. The implementation methods included observation, socialization, training, mentoring, teaching practice, and program evaluation. The main activities consisted of training on the use of AI applications in PJOK learning, the utilization of interactive digital media, and the implementation of English bilingual sports vocabulary games such as Move and Say, Sport Vocabulary Relay, AI Sport Quiz, and Simon Says Sport Edition. This program assisted teachers in applying simple English sports instructions to make learning more engaging and interactive. The results indicated an improvement in teachers’ abilities to utilize AI-based digital media and implement simple bilingual learning practices. Students became more active, motivated, and confident in using sports vocabulary in English. Furthermore, AI-based educational games successfully created an enjoyable and innovative learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan alat bantu latihan set-up bola voli yang mampu memberikan umpan balik objektif mengenai kecepatan dan akurasi umpan setter. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Produk mengintegrasikan dua gerbang sensor inframerah pada jarak tetap untuk menghitung kecepatan bola berdasarkan selisih waktu, mikrokontroler sebagai komparator dan pengolah data, serta target digital sembilan zona untuk mengidentifikasi ketepatan arah umpan. Validasi melibatkan dua ahli alat/teknologi olahraga dan dua ahli bola voli. Uji kelompok kecil melibatkan enam atlet, sedangkan uji lapangan melibatkan 18 atlet bola voli Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Data kelayakan dianalisis menggunakan persentase dan Aiken’s V, sedangkan efektivitas dianalisis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan dan ukuran efek. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan validasi ahli alat sebesar 91,50% (V = 0,89) dan validasi ahli bola voli sebesar 93,00% (V = 0,92), keduanya berada pada kategori sangat layak. Pengujian komparator kecepatan menghasilkan korelasi r = 0,97 terhadap video 240 fps dengan mean absolute percentage error 3,40%, sedangkan deteksi zona target mencapai kesesuaian 94,40% (? = 0,91). Pada uji lapangan, skor akurasi meningkat dari 63,09 ± 6,27 menjadi 72,95 ± 8,80 (t(17) = 8,52; p < 0,001; d = 2,01), dan kecepatan bola meningkat dari 7,67 ± 0,60 m/s menjadi 8,17 ± 0,78 m/s (t(17) = 5,75; p < 0,001; d = 1,35). Alat dinilai praktis, aman, dan relevan untuk latihan setter berbasis data. Produk berpotensi membantu pelatih memantau konsistensi teknik set-up secara lebih objektif, meskipun pengujian lebih luas dan validasi terhadap sistem motion capture masih diperlukan.
