Abstract

E-commerce plays an essential role in supporting young entrepreneurs by providing easier access to markets, lower business costs, and wider opportunities for innovation. However, there is still a gap between theories of digital entrepreneurship and real practices, as many young entrepreneurs face challenges such as limited digital literacy, funding, and business management skills. This study aims to analyze how e-commerce influences the growth and sustainability of young entrepreneurship and to identify the main factors that support or hinder their success. Using a systematic literature review based on PRISMA guidelines, this research reviewed studies published between 2015 and 2024 from Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The analysis used three main theories: Entrepreneurial Opportunity Recognition Theory, Technology Acceptance Model, and Resource-Based View. The findings show that e-commerce not only serves as a platform for transactions but also as an ecosystem for learning and innovation. It helps young entrepreneurs recognize opportunities, adopt technology, and manage resources more effectively. However, strengthening digital education, access to finance, and policy support is needed to ensure the sustainability of youth entrepreneurship in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines how digital transformation through e-commerce can be a competitive advantage for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Based on literature studies and secondary data from 2020–2025, the results indicate that e-commerce plays a key role in expanding markets, increasing efficiency, and strengthening brand image. However, challenges such as low digital literacy, infrastructure inequality, and cybersecurity risks remain. The success of digital transformation is influenced by internal readiness, managerial support, and collaboration with digital platforms. Using the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework and Dynamic Capability Theory, this study concludes that inclusive and adaptive digital transformation, accompanied by policy support and cross-sector collaboration, is crucial for realizing a resilient and competitive Indonesian digital economy.

Abstract

Quite quitting yang populer di media sosial menggambarkan tindakan pekerja yang hanya menyelesaikan tugas-tugas minimal yang diperlukan untuk tugas pokok mereka tanpa memilih mengundurkan diri. Hal ini mencerminkan penurunan dedikasi dan engagement karyawan yang berdampak pada budaya kerja, produktivitas dan retensi karyawan. Gen Z memiliki nilai generasional yang mengutamakan work-life balance menunjukkan kecenderungan kuat terhadap fenomena ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji definisi, perkembangan konsep, kemunculan pada Gen Z, faktor penyebab, dan implikasinya bagi organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur menemukan bahwa quite quitting bukan hanya demotivasi personal saja melainkan gambaran ketidaksesuaian antara sistem kerja dan nilai generasional pada Gen Z yang disebabkan oleh burnout, ketidakseimbangan tuntutan dan sumber daya pekerjaan, rendahnya engagement kerja, kepemimpinan yang tidak responsif dan nilai generasional. Implikasi dari fenomena ini mencakup penurunan produktivitas, kualitas organisasi, serta partisipasi dalam inovasi, oleh karena itu perlu respons strategis organisasi dengan meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan, menumbuhkan keterlibatan kerja melalui kepemimpinan inklusif, dan menekankan makna dalam pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menegaskan quiet quitting sebagai isu strategis yang memerlukan perhatian serius dari manajemen untuk merancang strategi MSDM yang relevan dan berfokus pada kesejahteraan karyawan.
