Abstract

This study examines the effect of a love-based curriculum on students' religious behavior at MIN 5 Nganjuk. A quantitative approach with a descriptive design was employed, involving 75 sixth-grade students selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using validated and reliable questionnaires measuring both the implementation of the love-based curriculum and students' religious behavior, which included aspects such as prayer practices, honesty, discipline, and social concern. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with SPSS version 25, preceded by normality and linearity tests. The findings reveal that the love-based curriculum significantly affects students' religious behavior, with a t-test value of 8.120 > 1.665 (p = 0.000 < 0.050). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.475 indicates that the love-based curriculum contributes 47.5% to students' religious behavior, while the remaining 52.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These results confirm that integrating values of love and compassion into the curriculum effectively enhances students' religious practices and character at the elementary school level.
