Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged the use of web-based information systems to support administrative and management processes in educational institutions. SMP Negeri 1 Legok has 14 extracurricular activities; however, the management of extracurricular data, student registration, attendance, and activity documentation has not yet been integrated into a single web-based system. This condition may cause difficulties in managing data and delivering information related to extracurricular activities. The purpose of this research is to design and develop a web-based extracurricular management and attendance information system at SMP Negeri 1 Legok using the Agile Scrum method. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The system was developed using the Laravel framework, PHP programming language, and MySQL database. The proposed system provides various features for managing student and extracurricular data, student registration, registration validation, activity information, attendance recording, documentation uploads, and attendance reports based on the defined user access rights. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that the developed functions operate according to the identified requirements. The results of the research indicate that the developed system can support extracurricular management and attendance processes in a more structured and integrated manner.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengelolaan absensi karyawan yang masih dilakukan secara manual dapat menimbulkan keterlambatan rekapitulasi, kesalahan pencatatan, dan lemahnya validasi kehadiran, terutama bagi teknisi lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem informasi monitoring absensi karyawan berbasis web pada PT Moiko Mitsuba Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengembangan prototipe melalui analisis kebutuhan, perancangan basis data dan UML, implementasi aplikasi, serta pengujian fungsional menggunakan black box testing. Sistem dikembangkan dengan fitur login, pengelolaan data karyawan, pencatatan absen masuk dan pulang, monitoring kehadiran, serta laporan berdasarkan periode. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan seluruh fungsi utama berjalan sesuai kebutuhan. Sistem yang dihasilkan membantu HRD memperoleh data kehadiran secara lebih cepat, terpusat, dan mudah dipantau sehingga proses administrasi absensi menjadi lebih efektif. ABSTRACT Manual employee attendance management can lead to delays in recapitulation, recording errors, and weak attendance validation, especially for field technicians. This research aims to design and build a web-based employee attendance monitoring information system at PT Moiko Mitsuba Indonesia. The methods used were prototype development through needs analysis, database and UML design, application implementation, and functional testing using black box testing. The system was developed with login features, employee data management, attendance and departure recording, attendance monitoring, and period-based reporting. Test results showed that all main functions functioned as required. The resulting system helps HR obtain attendance data more quickly, centrally, and easily monitored, thus making the attendance administration process more effective.
