Abstract

Background: Religious pluralism and global social transformation have reshaped the theological identity and spiritual praxis of the Church in the twenty-first century. In this context, the doctrine of the Trinity requires renewed reflection to remain doctrinally faithful while contextually relevant. Objective: This study aims to reconstruct a contextual Trinitarian theological model that responds to religious pluralism and contemporary social dynamics, and to explore its implications for ecclesial spirituality. Method: The research employs a qualitative theological approach through systematic literature review and doctrinal analysis, integrating systematic theology and contextual hermeneutics. Primary sources include biblical texts, while secondary sources consist of patristic writings, classical and contemporary theologians, and official ecclesial documents. Results: The findings indicate that a contextual reconstruction of the Trinity emphasizes ontological unity, relational communion, and missional engagement. The relational dimension (perichoresis) becomes a paradigm for dialogical, participatory, and inclusive ecclesial life. Overall: The study concludes that a contextual Trinitarian model provides a coherent theological foundation for developing a dialogical and transformative spirituality, enabling the Church to remain rooted in tradition while responsive to pluralistic realities.
