Abstract

This community service activity aims to help Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Gondang Hamlet, Tulungrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City improve their business visibility and accessibility through promotional digitalization. The main problem faced by these MSME actors was the limited use of digital media, particularly the absence of registered business locations on Google Maps and the lack of banners as a physical promotional medium. The implementation method consisted of observation and interviews to identify MSME needs, registration of business locations on Google Maps, design and installation of business banners, and evaluation of the program's success. This activity involved four partner MSMEs, namely Bakso Mbah Dhe, Warung Bu Narni, Njajan Kuy, and Warung Makan Bu Rum. The results showed that all four MSMEs (100%) successfully obtained active, visible business locations on Google Maps, complete with location information, operating hours, menu lists, and business photos, and collectively received 10 customer reviews with an average rating of 5.0 out of 5 through the Google Reviews feature. The combination of online promotion through Google Maps and physical banners proved complementary in expanding promotional reach, both for tourists near the location and prospective customers from outside the hamlet. This program also improved MSME actors' digital literacy and awareness of the importance of digital identity, although this improvement was not measured using a quantitative instrument (e.g., pre-test/post-test) and is therefore reported descriptively.
