Abstract

Blended learning has become an important instructional approach in higher education by integrating face-to-face teaching with online learning environments to enhance student engagement. This study examines student engagement in blended learning through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA 2020 framework. Relevant studies published between 2019 and 2022 were systematically identified, screened, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that blended learning improves behavioral, cognitive, and emotional engagement by promoting active learning, collaboration, learning motivation, and student satisfaction. Teacher support, instructional design, and learning management systems also contribute to successful engagement. However, technological infrastructure, digital competence, instructor readiness, and institutional support remain major implementation challenges. The study concludes that effective pedagogical design and supportive learning environments are essential for maximizing the benefits of blended learning and improving student engagement in higher education.

Abstract

Digital consumption has emerged as a significant economic phenomenon that influences consumer behavior, value creation, and market interactions within technology-mediated environments. This study examines the economics of digital consumption through a qualitative Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework. Literature published over the last ten years was collected from major academic databases and analyzed using thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that digital technologies reshape consumption patterns by influencing value perception, trust formation, customer experience, and consumer decision-making processes. The review further reveals that digital platforms and personalization technologies play an increasingly important role in shaping consumer engagement and marketplace interactions. In addition, evolving digital consumption practices contribute to changes in market structures and competitive dynamics. The study concludes that digital consumption functions as a key driver of contemporary market behavior and highlights the growing importance of consumer-centered digital experiences within increasingly digitalized economies.
