<![CDATA[This training initiative aimed to enhance the understanding and leadership character of children living in an orphanage through education on self-leadership, responsibility, honesty, courage, caring, interpersonal communication, and teamwork. The program was conducted with children aged 7–12 at Griya Yatim & Dhuafa Suryo 2 in South Jakarta, utilizing an educational and participatory approach. Implementation methods included interactive lectures, Q&A sessions, ice-breaking activities, group games, reflection, and evaluation. The results demonstrated that the interactive approach successfully boosted participant engagement and comprehension. Specifically, 87% of participants completed the entire program, 79% were able to explain leadership concepts, 91% could cite examples of effective interpersonal communication, and 80% demonstrated the ability to collaborate in group activities. These findings indicate that experiential learning focused on leadership and interpersonal communication is relevant for fostering character development in children. From a managerial perspective, orphanage administrators can integrate leadership practices into daily routines by assigning responsibilities and organizing group tasks. Practically, methods such as games, discussions, and simulations serve as effective tools for teaching leadership in a manner suited to children's characteristics. These findings align with other initiatives utilizing interactive, activity-based leadership education, which have shown positive impacts on children's character development and leadership skills.]]>
