Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan sebuah permaslahan bahwa metode Blended Learning bukan menjadi solusi utama pembelajaran pendidikan seni di tingkat dasar hingga perguruan tinggi. Permasalahannya diantaranya yaitu kesenjangan yang menjadi isu sentral dalam pembelajaran via daring ini. Masih banyak daerah-daerah yang belum mendapat akses internet dan ketersedian perangkat teknologi (komputer dan gawai) sebagai modal utama pembelajaran daring. Di sisi lain, metode blended leraning tidak bisa sepenuhnya diterapkan secara total dalam pendidikan seni. Dari permasalahan tersebut perlu kiranya perlu merumuskan ulang metode pembelajaran seni di era tatanan baru ini, pembelajaran seni tak cukup hanya mengandalkan sistem daring, karena olah rasa, olah teknis dan estetika sebagai perangkat utama pendidikan seni, membutuhkan proses pendampingan yang intens. Masalah utama yang menjadi fokus pembahasan adalah bagaimana metode penunjang Blended Learning agar dapat dimplementasikan dalam pendidikan seni. Metode penelitian ini adalah penggabungan penelitian Research and Development (R & D) dengan interpretatif analitik. Penelitian R&D adalah jenis yang berangkat dari kasus kemudian manawarkan solusi untuk pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini merumuskan sistem Blended Learning dalam pembelajaran seni perlu ditunjang setidak-tidaknya dengan metode kolaborasi dengan stakeholder. Stakeholder inilah yang memiliki peran penting dalam asupan keilmuan teknis melalui pengalaman mereka di dunia kesenimanan. Guru dan dosen pengampu utama akan berkoordinasi dengan stakeholder tentang bagaimana proses berkarya peserta didiknya, sehingga kolaborasi ini mampu memberi warna pendidikan seni semakin variatif dan humanitif.

Abstract

Garasi Theater  has a visual awareness and fine art aspect as their language. It seems when Garasi theater  creates visual works from Javanese mythology “Sudamala, Murwakala, Watugunung and the end history of Majapahit as a groundwork. Garasi’s tracking about Javanese mythology and the history of Majapahit in “Waktu Batu” as if looking for cultural and spiritual identity answer of space and time disorientation. The presence of visuality should be able to create new narratio of mythology and history. Art instalation, contemporary sculptures, mix media art and art video are trying to dialogue with another element of theater on stage. Based on creative process and architectural performance can be seen that Teater Garasi are creating a theater which is dominated by visual images.The visuality of Garasi Theater in “Waktu Batu” try to incorporating Javanese ancient spirituality roots through its mythology and history, and still using the lastest contemporary art.Keyword: Art Visual Performance, Garasi Theatre, Waktu Batu Story.

Abstract

Film Sang Penari (The Dancer) is one of Indonesian film that has a local spirit.Ifa Ifansyah, director of this film presents the problematic female dancers Ronggeng, ranging from the problem itself with her culture,herself with her family,to herself with her love story. The film seems to provide another offer to bring local wisdom in the movie screen.This research uses ethical approach by applying interpretation of analysis with Baumgarten aesthetic theory.The presentation is presented in qualitative descriptive. Based on the aesthetic analysis are generated various perceptions of beauty as follows: 1) The filmSang Penari (The Dancer) has a unique plot power, the cornerstone of this plot is a flashback but only a small percentage. Then forwarded with a forward flow that dominates the plot in its entirely.2)The aesthetics in this film appear when presenting a complex suspense and surprises. Both aspects are beyond the expectations of the audience thought and blanket the mind of the audience. 3) The aesthetics revealed is how the power of displaying beauty-beauty through political symbols. 4) The next aesthetic that is revealed is the cultural aesthetic.The aesthetics of Ronggeng performing arts along with the aspects in them are clearly revealed in this film.Aesthetics displayed by a dancer Ronggeng not only on the beautiful and sensual movement, but also a Ronggeng is a representation of beauty in maintaining the agrarian society.Keywords:Film,Sang Penari,estetika,Ronggeng,dan Buamgarten

Abstract

Advertising is now creating a need for consumers. Advertising makes the wishes and expectations of consumers as a need that must be met and how the fulfillment of course by consuming the advertised product. This study aims to determine the representation of male image contained in the ad Gatsby Styling Pomade. The type of research used is qualitative research with semiology communication approach. The focus of this study is the representation of the male image formed from the symbols contained in the ad Gatsby Styling Pomade. Analysis technique used in this research is semiotics analysis method with Roland Barthes semiotics analysis approach which has two marking level denotation and connotation and myth. In this ad shows that men should always look perfect with a proportionate body shape and a neat hair. The male image is displayed, forming the notion that men should always look stylish and cool. Then it can be concluded that the image of men found in the ad Gatsby Styling Pomade included in the category of masculine image. Kerwords : Advertising, representation, image, semiotics, masculine

Abstract

This study aims to describe Ika Mahardika's creative process in directing the documentary film The Unremembered, especially in the preproduction stage. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The results showed that director Ika Mahardika's creativity in digging data about Salawati Daud lies in the ability to use ethnographic research methods in a coherent manner starting from literature search, field observations, interviews and documents. In addition, Ika Mahardika's creativity also lies in data processing starting from selecting data with consideration of the capacity of the information provided then how the data is displayed chronologically.

Abstract

The study of digital advertisement of the tourism was based on the potential of dramatic elements seen in the "Wonderful Indonesia episode of Toraja-Makassar"  advertisement released by the Ministry of Tourism of Republic Indonesia. This research uses the approach and theory of William Wells’s advertising video and Gustav Freytag's dramatic structural theory. The results of this study indicate that important elements in the "Wonderful Indonesia episode Toraja-Makassar" included Rambu Solo', Masilaga Tedong, creative process of weaving, carving, and Tau-Tau sculpture. Voice over in audio uses English. Talent is very good at material. Advertising props contains of South Sulawesi tourism destinations. Setting of advertisement video located in cultural centers in South Sulawesi. Lighting uses soft light and hard light. The graph varies by using long shots, and close ups. Pacing is in normal speed. This ads presents a coherent structure starting from exposition, conflication, climax, conclusion and resolution. In addition, the advertising scenario is packed close to the reality, so that the audience is carried away to the real life This is able to motivate the North Toraja government to create tourism promotion content through video ads that are more attractive.

Abstract

The development of tourist destinations in this digital era focuses on using technology to develop successful tourism recovery during the pandemic era. We use this principle to develop a tourism strategy using 3D animated videos to introduce Juron Village as a tourist village. Specifically, this study analyzes the visual strategy of a 3D animation video entitled "Monumen Kreweng" using Marty Neumeier's visual branding analysis. The findings provide insight into the animated video's visual branding strategies, including differentiation, collaboration, innovation, validation, and cultivation. The differentiation is found in the work of the Kreweng monument as the focal point of attention and local wisdom, followed by validation through the use of social media platforms to solicit consumer feedback on visual branding. Finally, the cultivation concept encourages various stakeholders to participate in realizing Juron Village's tourism branding.
