Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence into academic services offers opportunities to improve the accessibility and efficiency of career and alumni information management. At Universitas Islam Raden Rahmat Malang, Tracer Study and Career Center services are currently managed through partially separated mechanisms, limiting integrated access to academic and career information. This study aims to design and develop UNIRA CareerTrack, an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant that integrates academic data, Tracer Study information, and Career Center services within a Telegram-based chatbot. The system was developed using an Agile Development approach consisting of planning, design, development, testing, and review stages. System evaluation was conducted through black-box testing to assess functional performance and subject matter expert validation to examine the relevance, accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness of the generated academic and career information. The results showed that all tested system functions operated according to the specified scenarios, including academic data access, enrollment information, career advice, job recommendations, system integration, data validation, and error handling. Expert validation also confirmed that the generated information was relevant and appropriately presented. These findings demonstrate the functional feasibility and content validity of UNIRA CareerTrack as an integrated digital service supporting academic tracking and career guidance.
