Abstract

This article discusses efforts to instill religious character values ​​in early childhood. To instill religious character values ​​in the younger generation, the Ministry of Education and Culture has introduced a structured character education program. Schools play an important role in shaping students' character and religious education by using habituation methods to teach Islamic values ​​to students. The school also has various religious activities to teach religious values ​​to students. The research method used is a library research method with secondary data collection techniques and critical analysis of relevant library materials such as books and journals. The results of the analysis are presented descriptively to provide an overview of character formation and the habituation of religious values ​​in schools.
