Abstract

Public transportation is an essential element in supporting community mobility, reducing congestion, and improving urban economic efficiency. Trans Metro Dewata (TMD) was launched through the Buy The Service (BTS) program as a modern transportation solution in Denpasar City to encourage people to shift from private vehicles to more environmentally friendly modes. However, in early 2025 the TMD service was discontinued due to government budget limitations, creating mobility problems and affecting economic activities. This study aims to identify the characteristics of TMD users, analyze the influence of economic conditions on TMD operations, and formulate recommendations based on user suggestions. The research employed a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The findings show that the majority of users were the general public and students, dominated by the productive age group of 26–35 years. The F-test indicated significant simultaneous effects (Fcount 23.133 > Ftable 2.18; sig < 0.05), while the t-test revealed that access to employment, productivity, and informal sector income had significant effects, with access to employment being the most dominant factor. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.599, meaning 59.9% of TMD operations were influenced by economic conditions, while 40.1% were affected by other factors. Respondents recommended improvements in comfort, punctuality, route expansion, fleet additions, and service promotion

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors causing delays in issuing Building Approval (PBG) and Certificate of Function Worthiness (SLF) through the Building Management Information System (SIMBG) in Denpasar City and determine the most dominant factor influencing the delay. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed by distributing questionnaires to 147 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 through validity, reliability, and descriptive tests. The results indicate that all indicators are valid (r count 0.465–0.625 > r table 0.159) and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha 0.778–0.794). The main causes of delay include technological issues (mean score 4.42), limited facilities (3.98), ineffective time management (4.21), service quality and staff knowledge (4.15), complicated procedures (3.87), and relatively high costs (3.76). The most dominant factor is the frequent occurrence of system errors (score 4.56; 84.4%), which hampers the process until the system recovers. The study concludes that the success of PBG and SLF issuance depends not only on technology but also on infrastructure, human resource competence, and procedural efficiency. Recommendations include improving system stability, staff training, optimizing time management, and simplifying procedures to achieve more effective public services

Abstract

Construction project work is a long process. During the implementation, various problems will inevitably be encountered. The most common problem is wasted materials. Waste materials are not only about wasted materials, but also wasted time and do not provide added value to the users of construction services. This study aims to provide answers to the factors causing material waste that are very dominant in the project to improve the quality of slum areas in Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. This study ran for 7 (seven) days from July 29, 2025 to August 4, 2025. This study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 32 contractor members who carried out the construction project in Candikuning. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis through the results of the mean and standard deviation. This study provides answers to the most dominant factors in material waste in the project to improve the quality of slum areas in Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. There are 3 (three) main factors that influence waste material, namely design changes (F5) where the mean score is 4.5 and the standard deviation is 0.57; waiting time for equipment repair (A3) with a mean of 4.44 and a standard deviation of 0.56; and complex image detailing (F4) with a value for the mean of 4.44 and a standard deviation of 0.67.

Abstract

Every construction project has the potential risk of work accidents that can cause losses in terms of time, costs, and worker safety. This study aims to identify the types and levels of work accident risks in a two-story residential building construction project in Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative with the Rating Scale technique, processed using SPSS version 31. Primary data was obtained through a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability, while secondary data came from literature and project documents. Respondents numbered 49 people, consisting of foremen, head craftsmen, and workers. The results showed that the highest risks in the upper structure were workers being hit by materials and falling from a height. In the lower structure, the dominant risks were injuries caused by digging tools and excavated soil. In MEP work, the main risks were falls from a height and electric shock. Risk control is recommended through daily K3 inspections, warning signs, the use of PPE, and increasing occupational safety awareness.
