Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based incoming and outgoing mail management application at the Secretariat of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of North Sumatra Province (BKAD PROVSU). The existing mail management process is still carried out manually using an agenda book, which may cause delays in recording, difficulties in searching archives, recording errors, and risks of document loss or damage.This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The system development method used is the waterfall method, which consists of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application is designed with features for login, incoming mail management, disposition, user management, data searching, and report printing. The database consists of tables for departments, users, incoming mail ,outgoing mail, and dispositions that are interconnected. The design results indicate that the application can support computerized mail management, making data storage and retrieval more structured while supporting the examination, disposition, and approval processes. System testing is directed using the Black Box Testing method; however, the results of direct operational testing still need to be completed.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based daily performance reporting application for Non-Permanent Employees at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BKAD) of North Sumatra Province. The problems identified in the existing system include the use of physical documents for daily reporting, which causes the verification and recapitulation processes to require considerable time and creates risks of documents being damaged, lost, or misplaced. To address these problems, a web-based application was developed to integrate the processes of data entry, verification, storage, recapitulation, and presentation of employees’ daily reports. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application was developed using PHP with the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database management system. The system has three types of users, namely Employees, Validators or Division Heads, and Treasurers, each with different access rights. System functionality testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that each application function operates according to user requirements. The developed application is expected to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the daily reporting process, facilitate report verification and recapitulation, reduce the use of physical documents, and support employee performance evaluation and allowance calculation at BKAD of North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

The management of goods credit at Koperasi Pemasaran Sinergi Kreasi Mandiri still encounters difficulties, particularly in recording transactions and keeping related data connected. This study focuses on developing a web-based application to manage member data, goods and stock, credit applications, verification and approval, installment calculation, payment records, and reports. Data were obtained through observation, structured interviews, and internal documentation. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, with UML and a relational database used in the design. The application provides separate access for cooperative administrators, credit officers, and members. Functional testing shows that the main features work according to the planned process, including input validation, automatic installment calculation, and payment history recording. The application therefore provides a more centralized way to manage credit data and makes the submission, approval, payment monitoring, and reporting processes more organized.
