<![CDATA[This research aims to determine: 1) The level of science learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 3 Pangkep who are taught using the drill method on substance pressure material and its application in everyday life. 2) The level of science learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 3 Pangkep who were taught without using the drill method on substance pressure material and its application in everyday life. 3) The influence of the drill method on improving the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Pangkep. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design research and One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population of this study was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Pangkep which consisted of 2 classes with a total of 39 students. The sample was selected using the Saturated Sampling technique and obtained 20 students from class VIII.A as the experimental class and VIII.B 19 students as the control class. The research instrument is 20 multiple choice test items. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the research show that: The learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkep who were taught using the drill method were in the medium category with a score of 14.00. The learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkajene who were taught without using the drill method are in the low category with a score of 10.16, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the drill method on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkep studying the Material of Subtance Pressure and its Application in Everyday Life.]]>
