Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the nadham (rhymed verse) singing method in enhancing female students' motivation to learn nahwu  at Ma’had Darul Muta’alimin. The study employs a quantitative approach using an experimental research design specifically, a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 10 female students. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Learning motivation was measured via a pretest before the intervention and a posttest afterward. The results indicate that prior to the implementation of the nadham singing method, the students' average learning motivation score was 59.1, falling into the "moderate" category. Following the implementation of the method, the average score rose to 76.6, placing it in the "high" categoryan increase of 17.5 points. This improvement was reflected in the students' attitudes; they became more enthusiastic, active, focused, and spirited during nahwu lessons. Presenting nahwu rules through rhythmic verses made the material more engaging, memorable, and easy to review, whether collectively or individually. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the nadham singing method positively influences the students' motivation to learn nahwu at Ma’had Darul Muta’alimin. This method serves as an engaging, active, and enjoyable alternative for teaching nahwu.
