Abstract

This study analyzes the relationships between transformational leadership, organizational culture, and employee performance through intrinsic motivation in four-star hotels in Bandung, Indonesia. Data from 194 employees were analyzed using covariance-based structural equation modeling. Transformational leadership and organizational culture were positively associated with intrinsic motivation (β = .581, p < .001; β = .177, p = .005), while neither showed a significant direct association with employee performance. Intrinsic motivation was positively associated with performance (β = .393, p < .001). Sobel tests indicated positive indirect associations through intrinsic motivation. However, the cross-sectional design and multivariate non-normality limit causal inference and require bootstrap confirmation.
