Abstract

Village economic empowerment through Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) is an essential strategy for promoting community economic self-reliance. Bonde Village, Majene Regency, possesses significant fisheries potential, particularly the Ambu fish commodity. However, the optimization of this potential remains constrained by limited production facilities, weak visual brand identity, and low digital marketing literacy. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to transform BUMDes Olang Mesa into a key aggregator of the village economy by strengthening physical facilities, developing an integrated village branding strategy, and expanding access to digital markets. The program was implemented using a participatory approach consisting of four main stages: data collection through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), strengthening production facilities and capacity, implementing branding and digital marketing strategies, and program evaluation. The results demonstrated significant improvements in the management and development of BUMDes business activities. In terms of facilities, the program improved the aesthetic quality of the food stall and developed value-added culinary product diversification using Ambu fish, including jepe-jepe, chili sauce, and fish meatballs. In terms of branding, the village's commercial image was strengthened through the installation of a Desa Binaan neon box, commercial business signage, and decorative lighting arrangements. In terms of digitalization, the commercial reach of the products was substantially expanded beyond the geographical boundaries of Majene through the utilization of e-commerce platforms and social media managed centrally by BUMDes. The synergy among adequate facilities, a strong visual identity, and digital marketing has proven effective in supporting inclusive and sustainable village economic growth.
