Abstract

East Kalimantan represents the lowland rainforest ecosystem with a vast number of macrofungi species in Indonesia. This study aimed to evaluate the diversity of macrofungi within the two different locations in East Kalimantan. The study was conducted in several phases, including planning, survey, preparation, sampling, and data analysis. Sampling was carried out systematically in 20 20 m plots. Collected samples were processed, photographed, and identified. Ecological indices, including the Shannon-Wiener diversity index, species evenness, and the Simpson dominance index, were calculated to provide a detailed analysis of the macrofungal community structure. This study found that location 1 recorded 24 species from 21 genera, while location 2 had 22 species from 20 genera. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index indicated moderate diversity at both sites, with values of 2.82 for location 1 and 2.65 for location 2. Daedaleopsis confragosa was the most frequent and dominant species in location 1, contributing 12.03% relative density, while Marasmiellus candidus dominated location 2 with 18.51% relative density. Species evenness was medium in both locations, and the dominance index was low, highlighting the ecological significance of these fungal species in their respective habitats. The results emphasize the importance of studying fungal ecology to support conservation and sustainable environmental management. The study revealed a wide variety of macrofungi that play vital roles in the tropical ecosystems of these two locations in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

Abstract. Alaa Laa is a collection of poetry about morals compiled into a book totaling 37 verses. What makes this book attractive to research is that the identity of the author and the year it was published are unknown, and the title is taken directly from the beginning of the first stanza. This study aims to analyze the meaning contained in the book Alaa Laa to find out the da'wah messages in the moral aspects contained in the book. This type of research is Library Research, which is qualitative in nature. The data obtained in this study is from the Alaa Laa book in the form of verses of poetry which were then analyzed using the Takwil and Hermeneutic analysis methods. The results of the analysis are then classified according to the theory of the Moral Da'wah Message to find the moral da'wah messages contained in the poetry book Alaa Laa. The results of this study indicate that the book Alaa Laa is full of messages in the aspects of morality, including: Morals towards oneself, such as patience and perseverance; morals towards others, such as easy forgiveness and hospitality; and despicable morals that must be avoided, such as talkativeness, prejudice, enmity and pitting one another against each other.

Abstract

Bioremediation intends to use living organisms to remove or decompose pollutants, using their ability to metabolize or accumulate hazardous substances, thus reducing toxicity. This study aims to compare the removal efficiency of free suspended Chlorella vulgaris and immobilized Chlorella vulgaris. Monoculture isolates of Chlorella vulgaris were cultured in an aqueous medium with KW21 fertilizer for approximately 12 days until reaching the stationary phase. The biomass was harvested, dried, and separated. A ZnCl₂ solution was prepared with 2, 4, and 8 ppm working concentrations. The biosorption efficiency was calculated to evaluate the biosorption capacity. The results indicated that the removal efficiency of free suspended C. vulgaris was 14.73%, 6.76%, and 10.22% for the respective concentrations. Immobilized C. vulgaris exhibited significantly higher removal efficiencies of 73.79%, 77.87%, and 83.80%. This study shows that immobilizeed C. vulgaris have a higher removal efficiency value than free suspended C. vulgaris cells because they can withstand heavy metal toxicity better. This study implicates that the treatment of alginate beads increases the stability and effectiveness of biosorption, and makes this method a preferred approach for heavy metal bioremediation applications in aquatic environments.

Abstract

The Lurai fish, scientifically known as Corica soborna Hamilton, 1882, belongs to the small freshwater fish in the Clupeidae family of the Clupeiformes order. Local communities in the lower Mahakam River, East Kalimantan, have long exploited this species for consumption and trade. At the same time, the biological information regarding this fish, which forms the fundamental basis for its conservation, is yet unknown. This study aimed to analyze the biological aspects and habitat of the lurai fish in the lower Mahakam River. A total of 812 fish samples were analyzed using measuring and weighing methods. The results showed that the fish's length ranged from 42.48 to 63.89 mm and their weight from 0.70 to 2.56 g. Mature lurai fish with 52.48-54.47 mm length dominated the highest mode. The regression model of the length-weight relationship was W= 5×10-6L3.18 for the total sample. The growth pattern of the fish was isometric, and the relative condition factor ranged from 0.765 to 1.123. The sex ratio was 1 male : 1.68 females. The highest percentage of gonadally mature fish was found in February. Fish lengths at first gonad maturity ranged from 52.55 to 53.38 mm for males and 59.94 to 61.25 mm for females. The habitat of the lurai fish is at the edge of the river with vegetation, a muddy bottom, a dissolved Oxygen range of 3.70-4.17 mgL-1, a temperature range of 27.50-28.40 °C, a TDS range of 50-80 mgL-1, a clarity range of 19-29 cm, a water depth range of 2.80-3.60 m, and a current velocity range of 0.65-1.07 mst-1.

Abstract

This research aims to determine Al-Quran waqf's funding and distribution strategy at Trans Studio Bandung Grand Mosque. The type of this research is qualitative and uses a descriptive study method. The research approach is SWOT analysis. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results show that Al-Quran waqf's funding and distributing strategy at Masjid Trans Studio Bandung is carried out in two ways: 1) opening a waqf outlet and 2) presenting strategy. The results of the SWOT analysis are Strengths, the existence of a special team that focuses on managing Al-Quran waqf, the potential for Al-Quran waqf is quite large, the geographical location, e-money waqf transactions system, a good network of collaboration partners. Weaknesses include not having an Al-Quran waqf funding raising target, needing a schedule for Al-Quran waqf education, needing more professional human resources, and not optimizing social media to inform the waqf program. The opportunities are to develop in achieving the Al-Quran waqf program optimizing cooperation with external parties. The threats include the existence of Al-Quran waqf institutions that are more experienced and known by the public, and public literacy regarding Al-Quran waqf still needs to improve.
