Abstract

This research aims to determine how the teaching of history applying cooperative learning model using learning together (LT) type with audio visual media can increase the awareness of history and learning outcomes of the second grade students of Social 1 in Gondangrejo Senior High School. This research applies classroom action research which was held at Gondangrejo Senior High School even semester batch 2015/2016. The subject of the research is the students of Social 1 even semester of Gondangrejo Senior High School batch 2015/2016 with a total of 34 students. This research was conducted in two cycles with the stages of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis technique that consists of three main stages which are data collection, data reduction and conclusion. The result shown in the research can be concluded that application of cooperative learning model using learning together (LT) type with audio visual media can possibly increase the awareness of history and learning outcomes of the second grade students of Social 1 in Gondangrejo Senior High School. It can be seen from the percentage of awareness of history and the learning outcomes that achieve a specified target that is 80% for a minimum percentage of the classical sense of history and 75% for the percentage of classical completeness learning outcomes. After being given the action for two cycles, the results showed an increase in both the students? awareness of history and the student learning outcomes. The level of awareness of the history achieved by the students at the pre-cycle was 68%, it increased to 74% in the first cycle and 82% in the second cycle. Meanwhile, for the learning outcomes achieved by students in pre-cycle with an average of 65.53 in the first cycle increased to 72.41 and on the second cycle the percentage of classical completeness increased to 77,59 with 20.59% inthe pre-cycle in cycle, increased 44.11%in the first cycle and 76.47% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The goal in this research to describe and find out: (1) the history of the establishment of the Tomb complex of Sunan Kudus, (2) the structure and function of the Building complex of Sunan Kudus, (3) Historical values contained in the Tomb complex of Sunan Kudus who can serve as learning resources local history, (4) the role of the Government is to facilitate Students in harnessing the complex of Sunan Kudus as learning resources local history.Form of research using qualitative, descriptive, qualitative descriptive is a way in researching an event by generating descriptive data. The data source used is the events, places, documents, and informants. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and analysis of data/documents. The sampling technique used is purposive and time sampling. This research, to find the validity of data used two techniques of triangular triangular triangular is a data and methods. Data analysis technique used is the interactive analysis, is move between three components which include the reduction of the data, the presentation of data, and verification/withdrawal of the conclusion.Based on the results of this research can be drawn the conclusion: (1) the history of the establishment of the Tomb complex of Sunan Kudus is a business form of Sunan Kudus to spread islam in the Kudus City that uses how acculturation between Islamic teachings and Hindhu (2) the structure of the building complex of Sunan Kudus is composed of several buildings such as Tower, mosques and Tombs contained in one area and have their respective functions. (3) the values contained in the building complex of Sunan Kudus have much teaching in various fields including political, ideological, economic, social and cultural. (4) Kudus County Government has a role in giving facilities to the learners to utilize complex of Sunan Kudus.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe (1) Background, (2) Curriculum, (3) Scenario, (4) Implementation, (5) Obstacle, about: historical learning of Cerdas Istimewa Class in SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri.The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research with research strategy used is single rooted case study. The research subject are teacher and students class X and XI of Cerdas Istimewa in SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri. Technique of collection data are deep interviews, direct observation and document analysis. Data validity using data triangulation and triangulation method. While technique of data analysis used is interactive type, which are data reduction, data course, and conclusion retraction or verification.The research results showing that (1) background of  Cerdas Istimewa class program is to filtering students who have more capability, so that their progress will be directioned. (2) curriculum usedin Cerdas Istimewa is Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). (3) scenario in historical learning in Cerdas Istimewa Class, the history teacher analyzing KI and KD, copying syllabus, also compiling Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) suitable f this research is the implementation of learning in Cerdas Istimewa is adopted with characteristic and with Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). (4) The Implementation of historical learning in Cerdas Istimewa Class, consist of three steps learning, they are introduction by teacher with delivering the goal and discussing previous study, in core activity, historical teacher implementing three steps, they are exploration, elaboration, anf confirmation, and after that in closing activity, teacher along with students conclude the learning result, doing valuation, and delivering the upcoming study. (5) Obstacle experienced by historical teacher in historical learning of Cerdas Istimewa Class is experienced by teacher is the hardship on time management because of crash scedule. Obstable experienced by students is, the students of Cerdas Istimewa having different learning source one to another and it confuse them in learning. The solution for those obstocles is by replacing the learning activity that already  been filled with another activity or asking the students to learn it by them self at home, later suggesting the students to follow the modul. Not just that, students also active to filtering the information from internet  provided by the school.

Abstract

The purpose underlying this study is to increase interest and learning outcomes of students of X IIS 2 SMAN 5 Surakarta by implementing Cooperative learning method type Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) with Destination Card Game in history subject. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research conducts in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of a plan of action, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects are students of X IIS 2 SMAN 5 Surakarta which is consisting 27 people. Source of data from the teachers, the students, the learning process, and the documents. Data collection technique is conducted by interviewing, observing, testing, giving questionnaires and document analyzing. The researcher uses triangulation of data and triangulation methods to examine the validity of the data. Interactive analysis and comparative descriptive analysis are used to analyzing the data. The research model includes the Spiral Model (Planning, Acting, Observing and Reflecting). The result shows that the teacher?s and students? activities in learning process can be categorized as good which means the learning process in History class goes well. The outcomes of learning activities in precycle is 60.81% increases to 74.77% in the first cycle and increases to 87.00% in the second cycle. The implementation of cooperative learning method with the type of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) by using Destination Card Game has increased the interest and the learning outcomes of students of Social 2 grade X of precycle to the first cycle and from the first cycle to the second cycle. The learning interest of precycle is 60.95% increase to 76.03% in the first cycle and increase to 83.02% in the second cycle. The completeness of student learning outcomes in precycle amount to 51.85% increase to 74.07% in the first cycle and successfully increase in the second cycle into 88.89%. Based on the research finding and discussion, it can be concluded that Cooperative Learning method with the type of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) by using Destination Card game can increase the interest and learning outcomes of students of X IIS 2 SMAN 5 Surakarta.
