Abstract

Padukuhan Kabrokan Kulon is an Padukuhan located in Sendangsari Village, Pajangan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Padukuhan Kabrokan Kulon has a lot of potential in the field of tourism objects and natural resources. One of the potentials in the field of natural resources is palm sugar SMEs. However, due to limitations in communication, technology, access to information, and funds, the potential of the Kabrokan Kulon Padukuhan, especially the Java sugar MSMEs, is not being utilized to its full potential. Therefore, there is a need for empowerment through educational activities about packaging design for Javanese sugar SMEs, socialization of simple bookkeeping, and also empowering Javanese sugar SMEs through branding communication to Javanese sugar SMEs in Padukuhan Kabrokan Kulon. So that from the results of data collection, the servant chose the potential of natural resources in Padukuhan Kabrokan Kulon, namely Javanese sugar SMEs which were made and discussed in village potential, moodboards, packaging from besek, videos on the potential of Javanese sugar villages and simple bookkeeping. From the results of the video, it is hoped that it will be useful and the village's efforts to maximize village potential.

Abstract

The Sapuangin Merapi area, Klaten Regency is a buffer village. The Sapuangin area is under the supervision of the Mount Merapi National Park Office. The Sapuangin area includes the Tegalmulyo Village area, Kemalang District, Klaten Regency. Tegalmulyo Village is located close to Mount Merapi, so this village has good natural resources, fertile soil and cool air. Local village people plant roses in fields. Every day, roses are harvested with a yield of 50 kg. Roses are sold to collectors every day. The price of roses sold is adjusted to the price of roses on the market on that day. The price of roses can change at any time according to market mechanisms. In certain months it is related to the tradition of visiting graves. The price of roses can be very high due to high demand. On the other hand, in normal months the market demand for roses is very low, while the rose harvest remains abundant, so the price of roses becomes very cheap, and sellers find it difficult to market them. To increase/maintain the economic value of roses, the Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University (UAJY) community service team provide training and provide equipment for processing rose flowers into rose water. Processing rose flowers into rose water uses a distillation process. The UAJY Faculty of Industrial Technology community service team designed the distillation equipment. The result of distilling rose water has many benefits and higher economic value, so it can increase the income of local people when the price of roses is cheap.

Abstract

This research is about the observation of workers transporting sacks in a traditional market. The worker complained about pain in many body parts like the shoulders, waist, and arms, which are presented in the results of the Nordic Body Map questionnaire. This problem can be solved by massaging the body section to reduce musculoskeletal disorders. Because it is often get massaged, it makes the completion time of sack transport become longer. Work posture must be improved because too much pain piles up over long periods and can impact condition health and decrease productivity. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the working posture while doing manual handling. Evaluate work posture using Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) and Manual Handling Assessment Chart (MAC Tool). As a result, work posture and manual handling have a higher level of risk of injury, so we need to investigate and implement change. The level of risk must be reduced to at least medium risk. Using auxiliaries can improve work posture, reduce health risks, reduce load sacks, and increase work productivity. The recommended outcome is adding a skid box to improve the value of REBA and manual material handling by providing a hand trolley cart.

Abstract

Padukuhan Kamijoro terletak di Kalurahan Sendangsari, Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Kamijoro dilalui oleh Sungai Progo yang memiliki potensi untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai lokasi wisata. Oleh karena itu, penulis menyusun rencana induk awal untuk objek wisata tepi sungai sebagai program kerja selama melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Rencana induk tersebut merupakan konsep penataan ruang dari keseluruhan proyek yang direncanakan, sekaligus memuat perkiraan biaya pembangunan. Berdasarkan data dan informasi yang dikumpulkan penulis, konsep bangunan yang direncanakan berupa kafe dan ruang publik dengan gaya arsitektur tropis-modern yang menghadap langsung ke sungai. Setelah desain selesai, langkah berikutnya adalah menyusun estimasi biaya yang perlu dipersiapkan untuk mewujudkan proyek objek wisata tersebut. Kehadiran objek wisata ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber pendapatan baru bagi masyarakat Padukuhan Kamijoro dan sekitarnya, serta meningkatkan perekonomian, khususnya bagi UMKM lokal.

Abstract

Desa Jambidan yang menjadi lokasi kegiatan KKN dari penulis     merupakan     padukuhan     yang     sebagian     besar     dari penduduknya berprofesi sebagai petani dan pengrajin batu bata. Desa Jambidan, Kecamatan Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul ini terletak di pesisir sungai opak yang menjadikannya cocok untuk kegiatan bercocok tanam seperti pertanian, oleh karena itu penulis menemukan bahwa pertanian di Desa Jambidan memiliki dampak yang besar kepada kehidupan penduduk nya. Jerami merupakan limbah pertanian yang berupa residu atau sisa dari hasil pertanian padi, dikarenakan jumlah nya yang sangat melimpah di masa panen petani memanfaatkan jerami tersebut sebagai pupuk dan makanan ternak,lalusisadari jerami tersebut dibakaruntukmenghemat biaya dan tempat. Penulis berharap supaya pembakaran jerami dapat berkurang dengan adanya metode pengolahan jerami menjadi kertas, sehingga petani – petani di Desa Jambidan dapat mengolah limbah jerami nya masing – masing menjadi bahan dasar pembuatan kertas.

Abstract

KKN 80 Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta chose Bantul and Potorono Regencies as locations to implement the Community 5.0 Community Service Program. This KKN 80 activity aims to help the residents of Potorono Village explore and look for village potentials that can be developed in order to provide added value to the village. The author has an idea to develop the potential of the village in the field of fish farming. Fish farming is very suitable to be developed in Potorono Village because Potorono Village has a large lake. The service method used is counseling, the author also seeks information related to the village's potential. The author plans to make innovations regarding the development of consumption fish farming tourism in Potorono Village, there is a potential reservoir that can implement this development. The results of the development of consumption fish farming tourism are in the form of fish and tourism. The counseling stage for the development of consumption fish farming tourism will be documented in the form of e-books and interactive videos, in order to make it easier for the residents of Potorono Village to realize it and it is expected to grow the tourism economy in Potorono Village.

Abstract

Singosaren is a village whose potential is strong on human resources. It is proven by the high number of productive age rate and Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises (SMEs) rate as the society occupation. SMEs in Singosaren tend to rely on conventional way of business. It is caused by limited skills to use business digital platforms. In this pandemic and amidst digital era, SMEs potential of Singosaren needs to bewell-empowered. This measure could be implemented through digital literacy. Digital literacy focuses on technology education in masterng the skills to utilize social media ande-commerce maximally. Digital literacy’s objective is for the SMEs are not just producing digital business contents but to also analyze and use the features. The digital literacy contains of two programs which are digibook and digitalk. Digibook consists of practical guidebook in practicing the digital businesses through e-commerce and social media. Digitalk contains educational video consisted of tips in using Instagram in effective ways based on target market.

Abstract

The author found the location of KKN in Tamanan Village. Tamanan Village is one of the villages located in Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. The potential of the village owned can be in the form of natural resources, agricultural or plantation land, natural or artificial tourism as well as various sources that can be utilized for the progress and development of the village. The author plans to make innovations regarding the application of the Mina Padi cultivation system because in Tamana Village there is potential for rice fields that can apply the system. The results of mina padi are rice and fish. The extension stage of the Mina Padi system will be documented in the form of an interactive e-book and video, in order to make it easier for the residents of Tamanan Village to realize it and it is hoped that it will produce an abundant variety of harvest types, as well as increase the income of the residents of Tamanan Village.

Abstract

This village potential development activity was carried out in Wirokerten Village, Bantul Regency. This service has two work programs, namely developing the potential of tourist villages and making pocket books. This service begins with identifying problems that exist in Wirokerten Village, then collecting data through sources on the internet, namely from regional websites, then planning programs and finally making outputs in the form of ebooks and videos. Before making the final report, all these activities are evaluated first. The result of the tourism village potential work program is the construction of the Bawal House. While the result of making a pocket book is the introduction of psychotropics and the consequences if they do abuse. Wirokerten Village has potential in the fisheries and tourism sectors which can then be developed into a tourist village with innovations in the form of design concepts for fish cultivation and fishing so that it is expected to increase community income, increase knowledge related to cultivation and increase the number of tourists. Counseling related to the introduction of psychotropics is expected to be able to provide insight and increase public knowledge about the types of psychotropics, how to recognize them and the dangers they pose.

Abstract

Community service activities to Girijati Village, Purwosari, Gunungkidul are carried out to make contributions that are expected to be useful. Researchers found the potential for accommodation business, namely the lodging business. There are 32 hotels or inns in Girijati Village. This potential can increase the number of tourists and make this village a tourist attraction, thereby increasing the source of income for the community and the Gunungkidul Regency Government. So, researchers In order to realize this, it is necessary to analyze the village potential and review the existing facilities and infrastructure in Girijati Village. The research data were collected through observation, documentation, and some literature. This community service is expected to provide counseling that can be implemented by Girijati Village in the future.
