<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the subject of science due to learning that is still teacher-centered and not contextual. This study aims to describe the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model and analyze the improvement in student learning outcomes after its implementation. This research was conducted at the UPTD of SD Negeri 070979 Sifalaete with subjects of 24 students of grade IV semester II of the 2025/2026 academic year. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles. The research instruments include observation sheets, learning outcome tests, and documentation, with data collection techniques through observation, learning outcome tests and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in the subject of science in grade IV of UPTD SD Negeri 070979 Sifalaete is able to improve the learning process and outcomes in each cycle. The average teacher activity increased from 64.29% in cycle I to 86.62% in cycle II and student activity increased from 60.93% in cycle I to 85.42% in cycle II and the average student learning outcomes increased from 65,42 with classical completion of 62,5% in cycle I to 82.75 with classical completion of 91.67% in cycle II. Thus, learning that links material to real-life contexts has been proven to increase student engagement and learning outcomes. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS akibat pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan belum kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Contextual Teaching and Learning serta menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah penerapannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPTD SD Negeri 070979 Sifalaete dengan subjek 24 peserta didik kelas IV semester II tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam dua siklus. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Contextual Teaching and Learning pada mata pelajaran IPAS dikelas IV UPTD SD Negeri 070979 Sifalaete mampu meningkatkan proses dan hasil pembelajaran pada setiap siklus. Rata-rata aktivitas guru dari 64,29% pada siklus I menjadi 86,62% pada siklus II dan aktivitas peserta didik dari 60,93% pada siklus I menjadi 85,42% pada siklus II serta rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik dari 65,42 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 62,5% pada siklus I menjadi 82,75 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 91,67% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran yang mengaitkan materi dengan konteks kehidupan nyata terbukti meningkatkan keterlibatan dan hasil belajar peserta didik.]]>
