Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic financial literacy and perceived ease of use on sharia stock investment decisions among Generation Z in Medan City using the Stockbit application. The research problem focuses on whether Islamic financial literacy and perceived ease of use can influence individuals in making sharia stock investment decisions. This research employed a quantitative approach. The population consisted of Generation Z in Medan City who have an interest in or experience with sharia stock investment through the Stockbit application. Since the population size was unknown, the sample was determined using the Lemeshow formula, resulting in 385 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed directly and through digital media, particularly Google Forms. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 29 through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results show that Islamic financial literacy and perceived ease of use have positive and significant effects on sharia stock investment decisions, both partially and simultaneously. These findings indicate that adequate Islamic financial understanding and ease of using digital investment applications can support Generation Z in making sharia stock investment decisions.
