Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires elementary school students to acquire digital literacy and creativity from an early age. This community service activity aims to introduce the Canva application to students of SDN Sembunglor as a medium to enhance digital literacy and creativity through the practice of designing a classroom duty schedule (jadwal piket kelas). The activity involved 21 students and was carried out through stages of preparation, material delivery, demonstration, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Evaluation was conducted based on five indicators of Canva usage ability. The results showed that 95% of participants (20 out of 21 students) were able to open and use Canva, 85% (18 out of 21 students) were able to select a suitable template, 71% (15 out of 21 students) were able to add text, 71% (15 out of 21 students) were able to add images or simple elements, and 85% (18 out of 21 students) were able to complete a simple design in the form of a classroom duty schedule. These findings indicate that participants' basic Canva skills were already fairly strong, while more complex editing skills still required further mentoring. The activity is concluded to have made a positive contribution to improving elementary school students' digital literacy and creativity
