Abstract

Adolescents increasingly use internet-connected devices for learning, communication, and entertainment, but intensive digital engagement also creates risks of intentional or accidental exposure to sexually explicit content. This community service program aimed to strengthen legal literacy, digital literacy, and responsible online behavior among students of MAS Al-Irsyahdiyah, Ciseeng, Bogor Regency, regarding digital pornography exposure and its implications. The program used a participatory educational approach consisting of needs identification, legal counselling, interactive lectures, case-based discussion, digital-safety simulation, and question-and-answer sessions. The materials addressed the legal framework on pornography and electronic information, risks to adolescent psychosocial development, online child protection, critical evaluation of digital content, privacy and safety features, and mechanisms for avoiding and reporting harmful content. The documented attendance list records 34 participants. Evaluation in the source report involved pre-test, post-test, observation, and discussion; however, numerical score tables and instruments were not attached. Accordingly, the results are presented descriptively. Participants demonstrated stronger recognition of legal and digital risks, greater awareness of psychological and social consequences, and improved ability to identify safer responses when encountering harmful content. The program also produced a legal and digital literacy module for school use. These findings support participatory, school-based legal education as a preventive strategy for strengthening adolescent digital resilience.
