Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a Web-Based Digital Guest Book Information System at Paupire Urban Village to improve public service quality. The main problem is guest visit recording is still manual using physical books, vulnerable to data loss, difficult to retrieve, and report recapitulation is slow and not real-time. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with the Waterfall approach consisting of requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The results show the system overcomes manual weaknesses through computerized recording, centralized data storage, real-time notifications, and visit reports that are quickly accessed and printed. Black Box testing shows all main system functions run according to specifications. This system is expected to be an effective solution in supporting public service digitalization and improving administrative accountability at Paupire Urban Village.
