Abstract

Fiqh learning is one of the Islamic religious materials that must be taught in madrasas. Researchers and practitioners of fiqh material try to find factors that can increase learning achievement and motivation. There is an assumption that one of the factors that determines the mastery of learning fiqh is the possession of language talent. Based on these assumptions, the study aims to determine whether the level of students' language talent has an impact on their learning achievement and motivation, by first disclosing the level of language proficiency, the level of learning achievement and the level of motivation to study specifically in Islamic Jurisprudence subjects. The research uses quantitative types with data collection techniques through questionnaire surveys for language aptitude variables and through documentation for students' learning achievement variables. The research was conducted on MTsN students in Malang Regency, with a sample of 122 respondents. The data obtained was then analyzed using a relationship test (causal) through linear regression. The results show that there is an influence of language talent on improving student achievement and motivation. This finding has implications for obtaining an important factor that must be considered by Fiqh teachers in an effort to improve their students' learning achievement and motivation, namely the factor of language talent.

Abstract

Malang Raya students who represent Generation Z essentially have the potential to ignore the value of moral education so that it is reflected in their daily behavior. Moral education emphasizes the adaptation process in strengthening the learning process that involves the role of educators in controlling the orientation of students in their attention to the massive use of gadgets and tends to be indifferent to moral education. Therefore, this study aims to measure the internalization of moral education values ​​for Generation Z students in Malang Raya. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey research type. The data collected are in the form of responses or information from 202 students at 4 PTKI in Malang Raya. The results of this study indicate that the results of the Kol-Smirnov normality test are 1.005 with a significance of 0.264 where the average value of student internalization is 76.23 which can be categorized as quite good in implementing moral education values ​​in daily life interaction patterns. Thus, the interaction patterns between Generation Z students should be able to present good behavior and interactions.

Abstract

Generation Z university students in Malang Raya are vulnerable to neglecting moral values (akhlak) in their daily behavior due to digital distortion. This quantitative research, employing a survey method, aims to analyze the influence of Spiritual quotient (SQ) and the impact of phubbing behavior on the internalization of Islamic moral education values among Generation Z students in Malang Raya. Involving 202 respondents from four Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) in Malang Raya, the research data was proven to be normally distributed through the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test with a value of 1.005 (sig. 0.264). The results indicated that the students' SQ levels and internalization of moral values were categorized as fair, with an average score of 76.23. Specifically, SQ exerts a positive influence of 24.2% on moral formation. On the other hand, phubbing behavior shows a negative influence of -0.528, meaning that minimal phubbing behavior contributes positively to strengthening moral values by 52.8%. Through the ANOVA output, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 was found. Thus, it can be concluded that the combination of a high spiritual quotient and low phubbing behavior simultaneously has a significant impact on the successful internalization of moral education values among students, thereby fostering positive social interaction patterns.
