Abstract

This study describes inside foot passing skills among students participating in extracurricular futsal at SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi. A descriptive quantitative survey included all 20 active participants through total sampling. Passing technique was assessed using an observation rubric covering preparation, execution, and follow-through. Each phase was scored on a 1–5 scale, producing a maximum total of 15. Descriptive statistics were recalculated from the participant-level scores reported in the source thesis. The mean total score was 10.60 (SD = 1.39), with scores ranging from 8.10 to 13.30. Mean phase scores were 3.55 for preparation, 3.72 for execution, and 3.33 for follow-through. Applying explicit continuous category boundaries, one student (5%) was classified as very good, 12 (60%) as good, and seven (35%) as fairly good; none scored below seven. The category frequencies differ from the thesis summary but agree with its individual score table. Execution was the highest-rated phase, while follow-through was the lowest. These descriptive differences identify a practical coaching priority rather than a statistically tested difference between phases. The findings support maintaining preparation and contact technique while providing focused feedback on movement continuation, balance, and readiness for the next action. Conclusions are restricted to this school group and observation task; training effectiveness and competitive passing accuracy were not tested.
