Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 3 SMAN 6 Semarang. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil observasi pra siklus menunjukkan data sebagai berikut, 1) kemampuan interpretasi 25,71%, 2) kemampuan analisis 46,43%, 3) kemampuan evaluasi 42,86%, 4) kemampuan menyimpulkan 39,29%, 5) kemampuan menjelaskan 27,86%, dan 6) kemampuan pengaturan diri 75,71%. Pembelajaran inovatif belum dapat berjalan maksimal karena masih ditemukan permasalahan-permasalahan di kelas, meliputi hasil belajar rendah dan peserta didik kurang dapat mengkomunikasikan ide-idenya dengan baik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode triangulasi untuk validasi data. Hasil penerapan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dipadu e-bio worksheet menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan data sebagai berikut, 1) kemampuan interpretasi 85%, 2) kemampuan analisis 96,43%, 3) kemampuan evaluasi 92,86%, 4) kemampuan menyimpulkan 85,71%, 5) kemampuan menjelaskan 76,43%, dan 6) kemampuan pengaturan diri 71,43%. Selain itu, peserta didik juga bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan guru dengan persentase 70%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dipadu e-bio worksheet mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning on improving learning outcomes and learning activities of students in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Semarang. In this study, the research subjects were students of class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Semarang. Data collection techniques in this study include classroom observations, interviews, distributing questionnaires, formative evaluations, and discussions with partner teachers (collaborators). While the data analysis used in this study is a quantitative and qualitative data analysis technique. The application of the guided inquiry learning learning model can improve scientific literacy skills with an indicator of success, namely the results of scientific literacy students in the class in Cycle I are able to achieve an average score of each aspect, namely 75% or on good criteria and in Cycle II it increases to an average score every aspect that is 85% or on very good criteria. The results showed that the average value classically increased from 68 in Cycle I to 80 in Cycle II and the percentage of students who were able to meet the minimum completeness criteria in Cycle II had reached 89%. Student learning activities also increased as seen from the activity of asking questions which increased from a score of 14 in Cycle I to a score of 29 in Cycle II or an increase of 41.67%. The activity of answering questions increased from a score of 18 in Cycle I to a score of 27 in Cycle II or an increase of 25%. Meanwhile, the activity of doing the task increased from a score of 23 in Cycle I to a score of 32 in Cycle II or an increase of 25. All the results of the action had reached the expected criteria. Based on the results of the classroom action research that has been carried out, it is concluded that guided inquiry learning is assisted by Liveworksheet media which is able to improve the scientific literacy skills of class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Semarang

Abstract

Adolescent health problems, in addition to physical impacts, can also affect mental health, emotional, economic and social well-being. Mental health problems are as important as physical health problems. Psychiatric changes during adolescence include emotional changes, and intelligence development. Community Service with the title Increasing Parents' Knowledge of Adolescent Mental Health through Health Education in the Cianjur City Health Center Working Area. This Community Service (PkM) activity was carried out in the Cianjur City Health Center Working Area. The method used in this community service activity is health education. The final results of this activity show an increase in results from the pre test to the post test, this is because families have been given knowledge about mental health in adolescents.

Abstract

Vocabulary is one of the most essential parts of learning English. One of the mobile applications that can assist in learning English vocabulary is the Duolingo application that one of the most popular applications for English learning. The background of the study is because, for EFL students, there are a bunch of difficulties they have to face while learning vocabulary. This study is aimed to analyze the implementation of Duolingo to enhance vocabulary mastery as media learning English Vocabulary of high school students. This study presented the results of an experimental study investigating the impact of a gamification mobile-assisted language learning application called Duolingo in students’ vocabulary learning The researcher use a quasi-experimental research method. To address this issue, this study investigated the effectiveness of Duolingo by comparing pre-test and post-test scores of control and an experimental class. The results of the implementation of Duolingo use in the experimental class indicated that post-test scores were higher for the experimental group than for the control group and the experimental class showed a quite big improvement.

Abstract

Poverty is complex and affects various aspects of life. One of the government’s efforts to overcome poverty is through the Family Hope Program (PKH). PKH aims to reduce poverty rates by involving professional workers as social assistants. The role of social assistants is very much needed in efforts to improve the welfare of PKH KPM, but in Mekarjaya Village there have been no KPMs whohave successfully graduated independently. This study aims todescribe the role of social assistants in achieving independent graduation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentationstudies. After the data was collected, data validation was carriedout using triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques were carried out both before and after data collection in the field whichincluded data reduction, data presentation, and drawingconclusions. The results of the study showed that there were three roles that were carried out quite well, the first role as a motivator, social assistants provide motivation in Family Capacity BuildingMeeting (P2K2) activities and home visits, the second role as aneducator through the delivery of all modules in P2K2, the third role as a facilitator by facilitating KPM in P2K2 activities to listen, respond, and provide space for KPM to participate in each meeting. Other roles, namely accelerator of change, liaison, social planner, mediator, and advocate have not been carried out optimally. This is because the assignment period is relatively short so that they do not understand all the needs and characteristics of KPM. In addition tothe transfer of work areas, the burden of assisting two village areas is one of the contributing factors. Furthermore, the dependence of KPM on PKH social assistance and the target of independent graduation are challenges for social assistants.
