Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out what variables affect employees who tend to turn out or stay in the company. In this study predicted workplace bullying, workplace spirituality and self esteem, affect employee turnover. Subjects in the study were 206 stewardesses who were obtained by accidental sampling technique. Test the validity of measuring instruments using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) techniques. Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a significant effect of workplace bullying, workplace spirituality and self-esteem on turnover intention. Minor hypothesis test results show that inner life and meaning and purpose in work significantly affect turnover intention. In contrast, work-related bullying, person-related bullying, physical bullying, and self-esteem are not significant in influencing turnover intentionAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui variabel apa saja yang mempengaruhi  karyawan cenderung memilih  keluar (turnover) atau bertahan dalam perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini diprediksi workplace bullying, spiritualitas ditempat kerja dan  self-esteem, berpengaruh terhadap turnover karyawan. Subyek pada penelitian berjumlah 206 Pramugari yang diperoleh dengan tehnik accidental sampling. Uji validitas alat ukur menggunakan teknik confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan workplace bullying, workplace spirituality dan self-esteem terhadap turnover intention. Hasil uji hipotesis minor menunjukkan bahwa inner life dan meaning and purpose in work secara signifikan mempengaruhi turnover intention. Sebaliknya, work-related bullying, person-related bullying, physical bullying, dan self-esteem tidak signifikan dalam mempengaruhi turnover intention

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of job satisfaction (the nature of work, promotions, awards, salary, supervision, operational procedures, benefits, co-workers, and communications) and gratitude towards organizational citizenship behavior. Samples in this study as many as 200 employees of Gojumong Restaurant. The approach taken is a quantitative approach, using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is significant influence of variables job satisfaction and gratitude to theorganizational citizenship behavior. Minor hypothesis test results showed that artifacts arethree variables that significantly affect organizational citizenship behavior, namely coworkersand the communication of job satisfaction variables and gratitude. The implications of this research can provide input to the company to add a program tostrengthen the relationships between employees, such as recreation, habituationcommunication on superiors to subordinates and vice versa, and so the reminder to alwaysremind the gratitude like, words or pictures that can grow gratitude on each employeeposted in the locker. DOI: 10.15408/tazkiya.v22i1.8145

Abstract

Nowadays the fenomenon of emigrate (Hijrah) becoming a trend in Indonesia. Hijrah means to change ourselves for the better, in accordance with the religion guidance. Deciding to change and get out of  the comfort zone it is not an easy task. Individual who try to emigrate often feel doubts, feel lonely due to being left behind by friends, facing cornering questions and comments. This research was conducted to find out the well-being emigrate women caused by gratitude and social support, using 200 young mothers who decided to Hijrah. The questionnaires for measuring subjective well-being using Flourishing Scale by Diener, Oishi, et al., (2009) and SPANE (Scale of Positive and Negative Experience) by Diener, Wirtz, et al., (2009), gratitude using GRAT (The Gratitude Resentment and Appreciation Test) by Watkins et al., (2003), and social support using MSPSS (Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support) by Dahlem et al., (1991). Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was used to test the validity of each item in the questionnaire. Data analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis (multiple regression analysis) of SPSS for windows. In this study we hypothesized that there would be significant influence of gratitude and social support on emigrate woman. Our result shows that, only sense of abundance has a significant effect to well-being of woman who emigrate but there is no social support that has  a significant effect to well being on them.
