Abstract

The Oyster Mushroom Women Farmers Group (KWT) is a group of productive women and has the potential for adequate social capital in driving the community's economy, especially helping to alleviate family finances. The Oyster Mushroom KWT production capacity has a capacity of 50-70 kg per/day, but its growth is hampered by technological stagnation machines, low bargaining power, fuel-intensive sterilization, and physical insecurity for the elderly, especially women. The Community Service Team of the Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia (UKRI) from the Communication Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Digital Business study programs proposed a solution to the problems faced by the Oyster Mushroom KWT with Appropriate Technology (TTG) in the form of three main machines, namely: Smart Biomass IoT Boiler, Chopper, and Straw Crusher with Soft-start Inverter VFD (Variable Frequency Drive). The implementation of the technology is in the form of the need to accommodate limited village electricity power (900 VA) and is ergonomically designed for female operators, women-friendly technology. At the next level, efforts are made to build entrepreneurship that creates social impact for the community by building social independence and increasing the income of women in Padasuka Village and reducing unemployment. The implementation of manufacturing engineering and modification of women-friendly technology carried out through basic technological literacy and practical training on the use of three machines for the administrators and members of the Oyster Mushroom KWT accompanied by the IMC concept and strategy through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities and workshops have provided empowerment and benefits in the down-streaming of women-friendly oyster mushroom technology that fosters sociopreneurs in the Padasuka Oyster Mushroom KWT. The climate and culture of socio-preneurs that have grown need to be maintained and further developed with intensive mentoring and training to reach a wider market through the virtual world, namely digital media and social media in order to provide real impact and evidence on social benefits and sustainable economic profitability as an implementation of socio-preneurial mental toughness.
