This paper seeks to examine the insights of the Qur’an about radicalism and how to deal with it in the millennial era by utilizing information technology to realize moderate Islam. At present the notion of radicalism has spread through various means and has become a troubling problem. This needs to be dealt with seriously in order to realize peace and tranquility in life throughout the world. Al-Qur’an as a way of life for Muslims also contains things about the problems of mankind, instructions for their settlement and so forth. So in this paper we will examine how the Qur’an talks about radicalism and seek solutions to these problems. Data sources were obtained through literature review and explained descriptively analytically. The study was conducted through a review of several interpretations of the Qur’an and other supporting sources. From this study, the results show that human radical behavior that occurs among humans has been described in Surat al-Baqarah verse 30. Then in this verse also Allah SWT states that he will make a caliph on earth. Departing from this verse, the author tries to contextualize it now so that the millennial generation can play a role in addressing and overcoming the phenomenon of radicalism by utilizing information technology in accordance with the guidance of the Qur’an

Robotic technology continues to develop as recently as 2016, Hong Kong Hanson Robotics activates the Social Humanoid Robot named Sophia. This robot has appearance and behavior like humans who can dialogue, move and express. This humanoid robot technology continues to be developed so that intelligence, response ability, and social skills increase. In the future, the development of the quality and quantity of humanoid robots can be a threat to humans in the social environment. The ability of robots that are more reliable can shift the role of humans. However, in the Koran it is explained that humans have been created in the best possible form and carry out their duties as caliphs on earth. Therefore, humans must try so that they are not defeated in the midst of developing technological sophistication of robots. This study seeks to examine what are the special human abilities implied in the Koran. The goal is for humans to know and maximize human privileges so that they still exist even though the ability of increasingly sophisticated robots can match, even rival human abilities. This research was carried out by conducting a library research on the content in depth in the Koran. This study collects verses from the Koran and supporting traditions to analyze phenomena in the contemporary era. From this study, the results show that in the Koran it is stated that human beings are moral beings as mentioned in the letter al-Qalam verse 4. In addition, in the letter Ali-Imran verse 159 also explains the meek behavior of difficult fellow human beings to be equated with mechanical and procedural robot performance. By maximally internalizing both messages in the Koran, humans are able to remain superior in the social environment because they have piety and faith as a guide to life even though humanoid robot technology continues to be developed.

Hate speech is increasingly becoming a serious threat to the unity of the Republic of Indonesia which is very diverse. The characteristics of people in the post-truth era that are more influenced by personal opinion than reality cause their emotions and sentiments to be easily ignited which results in intolerance and strife. How bad is the Qur'an which in some verses forbids the utterance of hate speech, one of which is through verse 1 of Surah al-Humazah, which strongly denounces and cursing. This study aims to analyze the behavior of hate speech through thematic studies of the Qur'an by applying the thematic interpretation method offered by Hasan Hanafi. The reading of the text according to Hanafi needs to go through three phases namely historical, eidetic and practical criticism. From this research, it was obtained that historically the Al-Qur'an was an authentic book since it was revealed until now, its truth was believed and used as a guide to Muslim life. Through eidetic criticism, the Qur'an reveals the prohibition of hate speech even condemns it. To overcome this, synergy efforts between the government, consumers and information producers must be done in combating hate speech by adapting values ??in the Qur'an such as the tabayyun attitude for the community, the principles of honesty, accuracy, fairness, and others for information producers.

Kulon Progo possesses the potential of natural beauty in the form of forests and hills. With the emergence of awareness about ecotourism potential, significant social transformations have occurred, particularly for the community in Kalibiru over the past decade. The initiation of ecotourism in Kalibiru has led to a surge in socio-economic changes among the local population. This paper aims to present the social transformation that has taken place in Kalibiru in relation to changes in forest status and the operation of ecotourism. The research is qualitative and employs participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentary studies in data collection. The obtained data will be analyzed from the perspective of social change based on conflicts. From this research, it can be concluded that tourism grows due to conflicts arising from detrimental changes in forest status policies affecting the local community. The existence of Kalibiru ecotourism has transformed an agrarian-based community into tourism participants. When the ecotourism sector experiences a downturn, it creates socio-economic changes in the community, requiring them to return to agrarian activities or seek alternative livelihoods.

Human spirituality experiences dynamics, develops, and transforms along with the shifting of human culture and civilization from time to time. Auguste Comte has categorized the intellectual development stages into three, namely theological stage, metaphysical stage and positive stage. The three stages of intellect have a big contribution in shaping the living of spirituality in every age. However, today and in the future, humans will face a new civilization when they enter the digital world. Experts in digital technology field continue to develop new worlds that transcend reality and call it the metaverse. This research is intended to explain human spirituality in the shift from the metaphysical stage to the metaverse and to find out what has changed during the shift of these waves. The writer feels that this study is important since spirituality is an integral part of human life and requires full awareness in living it. The data to be used in this study were obtained by reviewing the literature (library research) and analyzed using the continuity and change theory. By using this theory, it is expected that this research will be able to find out what is sustainable and what changes in human spirituality in the course of the three waves above.

Although it has been implemented for more than two decades since Reformasi 1998, democracy in Indonesia has not been fully established in terms of its principles, ethics, philosphy and orientation. There has been a variety of interpretation and narration of democracy in Indonesia in line of its various actors and supporters. The coming of digital era is making the Indonesian democracy more challenging. Therefore, there is a need for a new concept of democracy that can accommodate all forces of modernity and the specific nature of Indonesia. This article explains a form of democracy offered by Yasraf Amir Piliang as a model of Indonesian demoracy in digital era. Indonesia should apply a form of democracy that maintains national identity while keeps up with modernity in its attempt to realise people sovereignty. This article concludes that hybrid democracy in the forms of liberative, agonistic, autonomous and counter democracies is an appropriate model to implement in Indonesia in the digital era.

Introduction to The Problem: The experience of sexual abuse in childhood extends beyond detrimental effects on overall well-being, manifesting in the form of adverse treatment during the recovery phase. This critical issue necessitates a thorough reassessment of the effectiveness and dedication in the enforcement of child protection legislation, particularly in how it supports and prioritizes the needs and welfare of these young victims during their recovery journey.Purpose/Objective Study: The primary aim of this research is to delineate the specific characteristics and far-reaching consequences of child sexual abuse, as well as to critically appraise the execution of the child protection laws in terms of the care and treatment provided to the young victims throughout their recovery.Design/Methodology/Approach: Employing a descriptive normative methodology, this study is underpinned by both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data were meticulously collected from online news reports, shedding light on the nature, contributing factors, and multifaceted impacts of child sexual abuse. Complementary secondary data were meticulously compiled from a thorough examination of legislative documents, scholarly books, and pertinent academic articles.Findings: Firstly, the majority of child victims of sexual abuse are under the age of 18, with a significant number of the perpetrators being individuals within the victims’ immediate social circles. Secondly, the ramifications of such abuse extend beyond physical harm, profoundly affecting the psychological well-being and future quality of life of the victims. Thirdly, a notable proportion of these young victims face negative experiences during their recovery, a situation stemming from both societal indifference and the inadequate application of child protection laws. This shortfall in law enforcement fails to sufficiently address and safeguard the rights and well-being of child victims of sexual abuse during their critical period of recovery.Paper Type: Research Article
