Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the optimal shares listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange  (IDX)  contained  in  LQ45  using the  method  of  single  index model.  This  research  is  a  descriptive  study,  the  method  used  is  quantitative method.  Samples were  taken at thirty-six  shares of the company from  LQ45 period February 2014 to June 2015. The samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. Results from this research that showed that out of thirty-six stock companies only two shares optimal namely PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. (GGRM) and PT. AKR Corporindo Tbk. (AKRA). With the proportion of funds PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. (GGRM) of 0.6624, while PT PT. AKR Corporindo Tbk. (AKRA)  of  0.3376.  In  addition  the  rate  of  return  from  the  formation  of  the portfolio is equal to 0.0084 at the risk of the portfolio amounted to 0.000017 smaller   than   market   risk   amounted   to   0.001404.   This   proves   that   the establishment of a portfolio would gain optimal benefit with certain risk. Keywords: Optimal Portfolio, Single Index Model, risk, rate of return.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the returns and abnormal returns of PT Unilever shares before and after the protest from Greenpeace in March 2019 about plastic waste that is found mostly from Unilever products. This research design uses quantitative methods with a descriptive-comparative approach. The type of data used is quantitative data and data sources used are secondary data. The analytical method used is descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test to test the hypothesis. The observation period was 21 days, 10 days before and 10 days after the protest from Greenpeace. The results of this study indicate there are no significant differences in stock returns and abnormal returns at PT. Unilever. This shows that the protest from Greenpeace does not contain information content and is not important information for investors.Kata Kunci : Return, Abnormal Return, Saham, Sampah Plastik, Greenpeace.

Abstract

ABSTRACTInvestors generally will invest their fund in stocks that have high return with minimal risk in the capital market. In order to reduce level of risk then the stocks should be formed into portfolio. The purpose of this research is to analyze the risks & return of stocks of the first & the second liner of food & beverages companies that are listed in Indonesia stock exchange (IDX) from 2012 to 2014. A single index model is used for research method. The data observed based on historical data of the closing stock-price of food & beverages companies listed. Technique of taking sample uses purposive sampling. The sample used in this research is 12 (twelve) stocks of the food & beverages companies from 2012 to 2014 which are listed in Indonesia stock exchange (IDX).Data analysis using T-test (independent sample t-test) with significance level of 5%. The first hypothesis using Independent t-test shows that there is no significant return between first liner and second liner stocks. The second hypothesis using Independent t-test shows that there is no significant risk between the two as well.This research shows that investing in the second liner stocks are more profitable than investing in the first liner stocks because the return of the second liner stocks are higher than the first liners’ while the risks of the second liner stocks are lower than the first liners’.  Keywords : Single Index Model, First Liner Stock, Second Liner Stock

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of funding, macroeconomic, and profitability decisions on the value of Food and Beverages companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2018. The data used is the 2015-2018 annual financial statement data. The population is all food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and the study sample is 12 companies using purposive sampling.From the results of the study found that simultaneously there is a significant influence between funding decisions (DER and DAR), Macroeconomics (SBI) and Profitability (ROA and ROE) on firm value (PER) Based on hypothesis analysis it can be concluded that DAR, DER, and ROA partially have a significant effect on firm value. Whereas ROE and SBI do not have a significant effect on Company Value (PER). The contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable is 46.9%, which means that the variable of the independent variable is able to explain the variability of the dependent variable by 46.9%, while 53.1% is explained by other variables outside the model studied.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine and analyze the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic on economic performance and stock market performance in Indonesia.The influence analysis was carried out by means of the paired average test. For data that are normally distributed using the t-test and for data that are not normally distributed using the Wilcoxon sign test.This study finds that the Covid-19 pandemic has reduced economic performance and the performance of the Indonesian stock market.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of Profitability, Leverage, Liquidity and Inflation on Firm Value either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study are all food and beverages sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used is 12 food and beverages sub-sector companies that meet the criteria. This type of research used quantitative research methods with associative methods. The results of this study partially show that the Profitability (NPM) variable has a significant effect on Firm Value, while the Leverage (DER), Liquidity (CR) and Inflation variables have no significant effect on Firm Value. Simultaneously Profitability (NPM), Leverage (DER), Liquidity (CR) and Inflation have a significant effect on Firm Value.

Abstract

Usaha tambak ikan bandeng merupakan usaha yang banyak dilakukan oleh masyarakat didaerah pesisir terutama yang memiliki lahan tambak, usaha tambak ikan bandeng adalah salah satu bisnis yang sangat menguntungkan. Terlebih lagi, ikan bandeng tergolong jenis ikan yang tumbuh dengan cepat dari nener hingga panen, yaitu siklus hanya memerlukan waktu 6 bulan saja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha ikan bandeng yang ada di Desa Kalanganyar, Kecamatan Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo yang secara finansial dianalisis dengan metode Revenue Cost (R/C), Benefit Cost (B/C).dan Return On Investment (ROI). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah petani ikan bandeng di Desa Kalanganyar, Kecamatan Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo dan objek penelitiannya adalah analisis kelayakan usaha ikan bandeng. Narasumber penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang yang menjadi pemilik tambak ikan bandeng metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa setelah ditinjau dari aspek finansial bahwa 6 usaha tambak ikan bandeng yaitu tambak milik Bapak Usman, Bapak Suratman, Bapak Suhadi, Bapak Suwandi, Bapak Manto dan Bapak Andik layak untuk dijalankan. Dari kelima informan tersebut memiliki luas tambak yang berbeda-beda. Serta biaya-biaya juga mengikuti luas tambak. Hasil dari R/C, B/C, dan ROI ke enam informan dapat dikatakan layak untuk dijalankan. Karena hasil ini menguntungkan untuk ke enam informan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate (1) the effect of peer group communication on students' morals and (2) the effect that social media use has on students' values. This study was carried out in the Pancur Batu District of North Sumatra Province's Deli Serdang Regency, Indonesia. Our population was 1,207 Muslim students at the state junior high school in the Pancur Batu District, Indonesia. In the end, we selected 300 students as our samples using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. For the research instrument, we employed a questionnaire that was developed to collect information regarding peer group communication and the use of social media among junior high school students in Pancur Batu, Deli Serdang, Indonesia. Path analysis was used to analyze and synthesize research data. The analysis results showed that (1) peer group communication directly affects students' morals, with a path coefficient of 0.179, and (2) the use of social media directly affects students' morals, with a path coefficient of 0.213
