Abstract

UPJA (Usaha Pelayanan Jasa Alsiantan) as economic organization in rural area, which moves in the management and service, has purpose to get profit (profit making), managed based on economic scale, and market oriented.  The purpose of this present research are: 1) Knowing the financial appropriateness of soil tillage service using the hand tractor, and 2) Knowing the comperation of the farmers’ income with land soil tillage (Olah Tanah) system (OT) that using hand tractor and the farmers’ income without soil tillage (Tanpa Olah Tanah) system (TOT).  The present research that involved nine UPJA, 45 farmers using land maintenance service and 45 farmers whom not using land maintenance service, that spread out in five Sub-district in Sambas district, that are selakau, Selakau Timur, Pemangkat, Tebas an Jawai Sub-district. The data analyzed by two analysis tools that are: 1. The financial analysis with assessment indicators that an Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Net Benefit Cost Ratio, and Sensitivity Analysis.  2. The t-Test analysis.

Abstract

Students should know as that the importance of konsep. If the students gets a problem in solving mathematical problems related to the concept of the problem can be solved easily if the concept is understood in advance. For that, if students find problems which will be described in the discussion later that students will solve the problems about the geometry and the plane side as prerequisites must understand the concept of matter flat first. Of the above problems, as educator need to better understand character of the student, lest there favorite toward them. It will make the student themselves tend to be lazy and no curiosity about the material that is being taught. Thus, educator must work harder to make the students better. Abstract

Aquaponic system fish farming in Indonesia is a relatively new technology and is not widely known by fish farmers. Aquaponics system fish farming technology is a combination of fish farming and vegetable crop farming in one unified system. The purpose of this devotion is 1). Providing knowledge, understanding, and skills of the community in making aquaponic cultivation of vegetable and tilapia plants; 2). Provide training on mechanisms and procedures for making tilapia farming businesses aquaponically; 3). Knowing the analysis of tilapia farming business in aquaponics. The implementation of community service (PKM) was carried out on September 5, 2022 and September 11, 2022 at the "Harmonis" Farmer Group consisting of 20 people in Mekar Jaya Village, Sajad District, Sambas Regency using several direct approach methods, namely socialization activities, FGDs, and training. This activity consists of several stages, including 1) Socialization activities for the potential of aquaponics tilapia farming as an alternative livelihood based on community empowerment; 2) training in aquaponics cultivation; 3) training on tilapia cultivation business analysis. The results of the activity showed that the members of the "Harmonis" Farmer Group had known the procedures for cultivating vegetables and tilapia with aquaponic media starting from the preparation stage to the business analysis stage.

Abstract

FAD technology has an indirect impact on the development of fishery stocks, thereby increasing the diversity of fish species in the FAD area. This study aimed to determine the types of pelagic fish caught using handlines around FADs. The target of this study was traditional fishermen. This research was conducted using survey methods and was directly involved in the fishing process. Fishing was carried out using handlines with specifications consisting of the main line, weight, swivel, fishing line, and hook. Fish catch samples were measured every week starting on the fourth week after the FADs were installed, with consideration of the regularity of the sample observation interval, the weather, and the fishermen's readiness. Data analysis was performed using tabulation, and the composition of the number and percentage of each type of catch was analyzed descriptively, which is presented in the form of a picture. The results showed that the types of fish caught were large trevally (Selaroides leptolepis) with an average catch of 10.1 kg/trip, mackerel (Rastrelliger sp.) with an average catch of 4.2 kg/trip, Kuwe (Caranx ignobillis) with an average catch of the average catch is 0.9 kg/trip and lastly the Tetengkek snakehead (Megalaspis cordyla).

Abstract

Cumi merupakan salah satu sumber daya hayati laut yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Penangkapan yang dilakukan oleh nelayan di perairan Pemangkat tanpa mempertimbangkan keberlajutan sumberdaya cumi. Sehingga berdampak kepada hasil tangkapan nelayan. Ketersediaan (supply) telur cumi di perairan sangat berhubungan dengan produktivitas perairan. Telur cumi-cumi dapat dikumpulkan dari alam dengan bantuan atraktor Cumi. Keunggulan dari atraktor cumi-cumi yaitu mampu menampung telur cumi-cumi dan sebagai habitat buatan bagi ikan-ikan kecil sehingga siklus hidup cumi-cumi maupun ikan dapat terjamin. Untuk itu dalam tulisan ini akan disosialisasikan kepada kelompok nelayan lewat program pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini juga akan diperkenalkan metode konstruksi dan penerapan atraktor ini di dalam perairan, diikuti dengan pengamatan penempelan telur cumi pada atraktor tersebut. Kegiatan ini juga merupakan salah satu upaya pemberdayaan nelayan untuk mengenal teknologi yang dapat meningkatkan produktifitas perairan wilayah pesisir yang merupakan fishing ground.
