Abstract

RÉSUMÉ. La gastronomie est un élément inséparable de la vie humaine. Elle possède sa propre cosmologie qui s’attache à la culture d’une nation. Comparer deux cultures différentes vers la gastronomie ouvre un nouveau paradigme de réfléchir pour recueillir un point de vue sur le monde puisqu’il s’agit de la communication interculturelle qui amène aux étudiants au savoir-vivre côte à côte. Cette étude tente donc d’analyser l‘interculturalité pour résoudre les problèmes de la compréhension culturelle à partir des termes culinaires en français et en indonésien ainsi que les valeurs comprises. La recherche est menée en utilisant la méthode descriptive-qualitative, en observant les données d’une manière linguistique et culturelle. Comme les données viennent de cultures différentes, il est pratiqué donc de mesures comparatives. Les résultats de cette recherche montrent que la gastronomie comprend des symboles et qu’elle prend une position pertinente dans la conception culturelle surtout dans la formation de stéréotypes basée sur la langue. Ce résultat d’analyse n’est qu’un simple exemplaire de l’étude interculturelle qui propose encore de possibilités à développer. Mots-clés : interculturalité, gastronomie, symbolisme.     ABSTRACT. Gastronomy is an inseparable element of human life. It has its own cosmology that ties into the culture of a nation. Comparing two different cultures towards gastronomy opens up a new paradigm of thinking to gather a point of view on the world since it is about intercultural communication which brings students to life skills side by side. This study therefore attempts to analyze interculturality in order to solve the problems of cultural understanding from culinary terms in French and Indonesian as well as the values understood. The research is conducted using the descriptive-qualitative method, observing the data linguistically and culturally. As the data come from different cultures, there are therefore comparative measures. Research results show that gastronomy includes symbols and that it takes a relevant position in cultural conception, especially in the formation of stereotypes. This finding of the analysis is only a simple copy of the intercultural study which still has possibilities to develop. Keywords: interculturality, gastronomy, symbolism.

Abstract

Artikel ini membincangkan analisis situsional metode berbenah KonMari yang disarankan oleh Marie Kondo, pakar decluttering dari Jepang, kepada para ibu rumah tangga di wilayah Jatinangor Kabupaten Sumedang. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan pengetahuan tentang pola hidup rapi dan sehat, sekaligus menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya pengurangan barang yang tidak diperlukan. Peserta diajak untuk memahami bahwa hidup teratur bukan hanya soal kenyamanan, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pengurangan sampah yang berdampak positif bagi lingkungan. Prinsip ini sejalan dengan gerakan minim sampah, di mana setiap keputusan untuk menyimpan atau membuang barang didasarkan pada kesadaran akan keberlanjutan dan tanggung jawab terhadap kelestarian alam. Kegiatan PKM dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu tahap per-siapan, tahap penyelenggaraan, dan tahap evaluasi dan pelaporan. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini direncanakan untuk dilaksanakan pada awal tahun 2025. Hasil kajian sementara menunjukkan bahwa metode KonMari dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga dengan menciptakan lingkungan rumah yang lebih rapi dan mengurangi stres akibat kekacauan. Metode ini juga membantu memperkuat hubungan keluarga dan mendorong gaya hidup yang lebih sederhana dan efisien.

Abstract

Many cooperation partners of the provincial government of West Java come from other countries that have different cultures with Indonesian or Sundanese. Language skills in the sphere of diplomacy associated with language politeness are needed here in order to make the goal of negotiation achieved and provide benefits to the people of West Java. Community Service Activities is conducted in public speaking training activities. This research uses a pragmatic approach. The theories used are a Pragmatic theory by Levinson (1983) and Speech situation theory by Leech (1993). This research applies a qualitative descriptive method in the social field especially language, communication, and international relations. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and insight for the staff of the Bureau of Domestic and International Cooperation in West Java and also to improve their communication ability. The implementation of this activity received a positive response from the participants. They feel that this activity is very useful and provide insight and skills to speak more in public. This is very crucial for the lecturer and business agent in the Agency for Cooperatives and Entrepreneurship Training (Balatkop) of West Java Province. In addition, the benefit of conducting this Community Service Activity is useful scientific empowerment for the community as well as the existence of article regarding this activity thus it becomes more extensive.
