Abstract

This article aims to examine the rules of al-Shahabah Kulluhum 'Udul based on the Qur'an and Hadith. Examine the arguments used to justify the rule. The results of the study indicate that the rule of al-Shahabah Kulluhum 'Udul is complicated to maintain because the description of the Qur'an and hadith about friends are different; there are so-called groups of believers, groups of hypocrites, and wicked people. So generalize that all fair is wrong. This rule is more accurately called a dogma than as a historical fact. This study uses a type of library research with a theological-historical approach, namely by using the doctrines of the Qur'an and Hadith about friends. Since the doctrine of al-Shahabah Kulluhum 'Udul cannot be defended, there are at least two things that need to be done; first, reconstructing the definition of a friend; second, rejecting the rule of 'is al-Shahābah Kulluhum 'Udul. The correct redefinition of companions is who SAW or met the Prophet in a state of faith or pretended to believe and died in such a state.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the history of Abū Thā lib, who died an infidel. Even though throughout his life, Abū Thā lib was  immortalized to serve his nephew Muhammad bin Abdullah who would later become a prophet at the end of time. From the time of the Prophet to adulthood, before and after being  appointed as a Prophet, Abū Thā lib was never separated from the Prophet. The death of his uncle made the Prophet very sad, which is called al-huzn in history. However, history does not record him as a true believer but does record him as a person who died under suspicious circumstances. Meanwhile, Abū Sofyan, whose life was  filled with hatred for Islam, was registered as a person who died in a state of faith. Abū sofyān was the Prophet's friend, while Abū Thā lib was not the Prophet's friend. Therefore, research on Abū Thā lib is a fundamental thing to do. This study uses library research type with the Naqd matn approach. The validity of sanad is not always in line with the authenticity of the existing hadith. If the reason for the hadith is invalid, then the hadith is  rejected. Bukhari, Muslim, al-Nasā i and Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal reported that Abū Thā lib died as an infidel so that the majority of Muslims believed in Abū Thalib's distrust. The Naqd al-Matn approach shows that this hadith can not be valid because it contradicts historical facts and common sense.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of monotheism and the proposition of God's existence with the naqli & aqli propositional approach. The arguments in the rules of ushul consist of naqli arguments (al-Qur'an and Hadith) and aqli arguments (reason). The article shows that the concept of divinity is not built without a foundation, but is based on propositions. This type of research is qualitative with theological and philosophical approaches. Theological approach is used to complete a discussion based on the text. The results of this study indicate that the concept of monotheism and the proposition of the existence of God is obtained from the arguments, both from the naqli argument and the aqli argument. Therefore, belief in the existence of God is argumentative and rejects atheism, which denies the existence of God in the creation of the universe. Tawhid means the essence, nature and af'al of Allah is a unity that is not separate. The concept of monotheism is different from the view of monotheism which is generally understood.

Abstract

Ali al-Madini's thoughts on the rule of 'Ilal al-Hadist (Study of the Book of 'Ilal al-Hadits wa Ma'rifah al-Rijal wa Tarikh)'Ilal al-Hadits is understood as a hadith that appears valid, but in fact is daif. Scholars sometimes find it difficult to detect a hadith that has illat. Even scholars say to detect a hadith that has illat required the power of intuition, memorization, a deep understanding of the hadith. Ali al-Madini became a central figure in laying down the rules of 'ilal al-hadits, his opinion was always a reference by later scholars, however, there were not many special books written on 'ilal al-hadits that studied. This study aims to examine the thoughts of Ali al-Madini about 'ilal al-hadits by referring to his book 'Ilal al-Hadits wa Ma'rifah al-Rijal wa Tarikh. Knowing the hadiths that have illat will be studied in the book. This type of research is qualitative with a philosophical approach. The philosophical approach means that the media is used to carefully analyze Ali al-Madini's thoughts on the 'ilal hadith based on his book. The results of this study indicate that Ali al-Madini in detecting the 'ilal hadith is more focused on the area of hadith sanad. He did not find his explanation of 'ilal al-hadits related to the matan of hadith. This can be a gap of criticism against him for not paying attention to the area of matan hadith. In addition, if the narrator is judged to be jarh, the hadith is considered rejected, if the narrator is judged to be ta'dil, then the history is considered valid. The implication of this research shows that the development of 'ilal al-hadiys still needs to be developed by scholars after the Ali al-Madini generation, however, Ali al-Madini becomes the central figure in determining the rules of 'ilal al-hadits

Abstract

Religious moderation was used as the object of research because they wanted to know the concept of religious moderation of each religious figure based on their respective holy books. This research is a qualitative research, using a love theory approach. it means that the perspectives of various religious figures see other creatures as part of themselves, one family even though they are different. The results of this study indicate that the concept of religious moderation in each religion is essentially based on the concept of compassion for others taught by their respective religions. This means respecting differences in beliefs, differences in how to approach God are not the focus of attention, but it is the basic humanity that causes them to respect each other among fellow creatures. Different humans are a destiny of God but they are like one family so they must love each other, love each other. The conclusion of this study is that Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity have the principle of religious moderation based on their respective holy books. Each of their religious teachings teaches to love God's fellow creatures even though they are different, including different religions

Abstract

This study aims at examining the concept of the infallibility of the Prophet Muhammad as a human being in general based on the context of the interpretation of the Qur’an. This study will answer the question of why the Prophet Muhammad considered infallible, even though he had made a mistake in conducting ijtihad?. This study used qualitative methods based on the critical theory paradigm and theory of semantic analysis and historical contextual. The results showed that the Prophet Muhammad considered an infallible man based on the context of the use of “basyar” term in the Qur’an. The term “basyar” is always attached to the Prophet as the recipient of revelation, so it shows that Muhammad was an infallible human being. If the Prophet makes a mistake, he will always get a reprimand from Allah. This privilege is indeed not owned by other humans. This research ultimately refutes the argument that the Prophet’s mistake in carrying out “ijtihad” shows his ineptitude as an ordinary person.Keywords: The Ijtihad; Infallible; Muhammad as a Human Being;الملخصتهدف هذه المقالة لفحص مفهوم عصمة نبي الله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم كبشر بشكل عام بناء على سياق تفسير القرآن الكريم. وتركز هذه الدراسة على الإجابة لتلك القضية وهي لماذا يعتبر نبي الله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم معصومًا رغم أنه كان مخطئًا في اجتهاده؟ وتستخدم هذه الدراسة الطريقة النوعية بناء على نموذج النظرية النقدية. والنظرية التحليلية المستخدمة من خلال نظرية التحليل النحوي والسياق التاريخي. وتشير النتيجة إلى أن النظر إلي ذلك من ناحية سياق استخدام مصطلح ((البشر)) في القرآن الكريم نحو موقف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كبشر معصوم فإنه يظهر بدقة نوعية العصمة في مجملها؛ لأن ذلك المصطلح لا يزال مرتبطًا بوظيفته كالملتقي للوحي ((يوحى))، ولذلك كان الله سبحانه وتعالى دائما  يذكره عن خطأه وهذه الخصوصية لا يملكها بشر بشكل عام. والمستفاد من هذه الدراسة وهو أن الحجة في عدم عصمة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بسبب ارتكابه الخطأ في الاجتهاد كبشر عادي مرفوض بشكل تلقائي. الكلمات الدالة: الإ جتهاد؛ العصمة؛ محمد رسول الله صل الله عليه وسلم؛ البشر؛ القرأن و الحديث؛ AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk membedah konsep kemaksuman Nabi Muhammad sebagai manusia pada umumnya berdasarkan konteks penafsiran Al-Qur’an. Kajian ini fokus untuk menjawab pertanyaan permasalahan terkait, mengapa Nabi Muhammad dianggap maksum, padahal ia pernah melakukan kekeliruan dalam berijtihad?. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berdasarkan paradigma teori kritis. Sedangkan teori analisis yang digunakan melalui tinjauan analisis gramatikal bahasa dan kontekstual historis. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa, bila ditinjau berdasarkan konteks penggunaan term basyar di dalam Al-Qur’an terhadap posisi Nabi Muhammad sebagai manusia yang maksum, maka justru hal tersebut menunjukkan kualitas kemaksumannya secara totalitas, sebab term tersebut selalu melekat pada fungsinya sebagai penerima wahyu (yūhā), sehingga kekeliruannya senantiasa mendapatkan teguran dari Allah. Keistimewaan tersebutlah yang tidak dimiliki oleh manusia pada umumnya. Adapun implikasi dari kajian ini secara otomatis membantah argumen yang menyatakan bahwa kekeliruan ijtihad yang pernah dilakukan oleh Nabi Muhammad menunjukkan ketidak maksumannya sebagai manusia biasa. Kata Kunci: Ijtihad; Kemaksuman; Muhammad sebagai manusia;

Abstract

The tradition of grave pilgrimages has become integral to religious practice in the Indonesian Muslim community. A grave pilgrimage is an order in Islam because it can remind us of death, take lessons, live zuhuds, and encourage us to do better. Grave pilgrimage has become a routine in people's lives, including the grave pilgrimage at Kyai Modjo's grave to honor the services of his struggle against Dutch colonialists. This type of research is a descriptive-analytical qualitative study that aims to describe the meaning of grave pilgrimages for those who make a pilgrimage at the Kyai Modjo Tomb. Using the Hadith Study method, this research focuses on the study of hadith, using the Living Hadith Approach, which aims to understand the perception and meaning of the purpose of the practice of Grave Pilgrimage at the Kyai Modjo Tomb. The data collection involved interviews with academics, cultural experts, and religious leaders. The results of this study indicate that grave pilgrimages are a sunnah of the Prophet. Therefore, the grave pilgrimage tradition is part of the implementation of the arguments of the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet. This research shows the permissibility of performing grave pilgrimages, especially to Ulama, martyrs, and heroes, such as Kyai Modjo in Tondano, North Sulawesi. This research can be a reference, especially about grave pilgrimage with a Living Hadith approach, as well as the grave of Kyai Modjo can be a religious tourism in the future if managed properly.

Abstract

Hasbi ash-Shiddieqy adalah tokoh intelektual muslim yang berpengaruh di Indonesia, hal itu dibuktikan dengan begitu banyak karya ilmiah yang ia tulis mulai dari fiqih, ushul fiqih, tafsir, hadis, teologi ia kuasai dengan baik. Salah satu karyanya adalah Koleksi Hadis-Hadis Hukum yang terdiri dari 4 jilid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji buku beliau yang berjudul Koleksi Hadis-Hadis Hukum. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan teologis serta sosiologis. Pendekatan teologis digunakan sebab menyangkut kajian-kajian hadis dan pendekatan sosiologis digunakan untuk melihat konteks ketika karya tersebut ditulis oleh beliau. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sistematika penyusunan buku koleksi hadis-hadis hukum dibagi pada tiga bagian, yaitu bagian ibadah mahdah, bagian kedua, adalah muamalah, serta bagian ketiga, tentang ahwal al-syakhshiyah (munakahat). Ia mengutamakan kemandirian dalam berpikir tanpa terikat secara fanatik terhadap suatu mazhab. Kata kunci: Koleksi Hadis Hukum, Hasbi ash-Shiddieqi.
