Abstract

This research stems from the learning that is applied to the accounting and economic education environment of PGRI Madiun University which tends to be still content transmission and teacher centered. These learning activities resulted in students being limited in developing creativity, understanding the concepts, and students still using their cellphones for learning while in class so that student learning outcomes are still not optimal. The main objective of this research is to apply smartphone-based quizizz applications as learning media in the PGRI Madiun University environment. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. This research was conducted at the University of PGRI Madiun. The subject of this study is a study program in accounting education and economic education. The results showed that in general students were positive about the application of smartphone-based quizizz applications as learning media. The application of smartphone-based quizizz applications as a learning media as a learning media has increased the effectiveness and efficiency of time in learning and improved information technology skills, discipline in completing lecture tasks, and facilitates communication with lecturers supporting the courses concerned

Abstract

This study aims to find out the application and contribution of smartphone-based application ““quizizz”” as learning media in the University of PGRI Madiun. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis technique used is an interactive method, including the process of collecting data, reducing data (compiling data in patterns, categories and specific issues), presenting data (compiling data in the form of matrices, graphs, networks, certain charts) and drawing conclusions. This research was conducted at the University of PGRI Madiun. The subjects of this study were students in Accounting and Economic Education. The results showed that the usage of smartphone-based application “quizizz” as learning media can make students enthusiastic in participating in learning, so students can focus and maximize the use of smartphones as a fun learning media. The concept of maximum learning will have an impact on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the strategies used by MSMEs of Batik Murni in developing their business. The informants in this study were 18 people. The method used was a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that: (1) The use of cost leadership strategies, differentiation strategies and focus strategies had an important effect on the development of MSMEs of Batik Murni. (2) The factors that affected the development strategy of MSMEs of Batik Murni consisted of capital, labor and marketing. (3) The raw materials used by MSMEs of Murni Batik in the production process were cloth and silk cloth, canting, for textile dyes by using remasol, naptol and indigosol and natural dyes, for washing by using waterglass. (4) The capital of MSMEs of Batik Murni was obtained from personal capital, capital loans to the East Java Regional Bank and to PT Industri Kereta Api (INKA). (5) The sales system used by MSMEs of Batik Murni was a direct and indirect sales system. (6) MSMEs of Batik Murni used a marketing research strategy, sales research, marketing information systems, marketing plans and evaluation. (7) The impact of the development strategy for MSMEs of Batik Murni Madiun, namely an increase in the amount of production, an increase in the amount of marketing and finally an increase in income.

Abstract

The Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) is one of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) activities that aim to enrich student learning experiences. Students are active individuals who always try to meet their needs, especially students who are taking part in programs from their universities or the government, for example, the Independent Student Exchange (PMM) program. This article aims to find out what factors can influence the consumption level of exchange students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, and the instruments of this research are students from the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) batch 3, Universitas Negeri Medan. The results obtained from this research are pocket money, scholarships, basic needs, primary needs, and the completeness of goods and services available at the location where the exchange student lives.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi di era globalisasi saat ini memberikan dampak yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap dunia pendidikan. Perkembangan saat ini menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk senantiasa beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi yang ada untuk meningkatkan mutu dalam pendidikan. Salah satu dari sekian banyak aplikasi teknologi yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah dan mengajar adalah canva, sebuah desain online yang menawarkan berbagai jenis media pembelajaran seperti presentasi, logo, brosur, id card, banner, sertifikat dan lain-lain. Tujuan diadakannya pelatihan Canva berbasis Project Based Learning ini yaitu agar generasi muda mampu  menghasilkan karya desain kreatif yang dibuat berdasarkan permasalahan disekitar sekolah berdasarkan materi pelajaran. Dalam pelatihan ini metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode persuasif dilakukan secara bertahap, dimulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar serta setiap kelompok dapat mengikuti  kegiatan sampai akhir. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat membantu dan menjadikan siswa kreatif dalam mendesain dengan aplikasi Canva.
