Abstract

Trip Length Distribution is an important part of Transportation Modelling. This distribution is normally gotten from a sample. Thus, the Quality of the Sample Based Distribution must be able to be measured. This paper present the result of an attempt to develop a method to measure this quality. The research gave the following result. Basic common measure related to the sampling is a maximum acceptable error at a certain minimum confidence level. It has been found that the Quality Measuring Method can not incorporate the error, since it deals with a distribution pattern in which there is no single parameter value and the error probability density function is not yet known. The proposed Sample Quality Measuring Method is by calculating its Confidence Level based on the Goodness of Fit Statistical Inference method, by using a c2 test. The Confidence Level is equal to  P(c2,u);  where  c2 = S (Oi ? Ei)2/ Ei and u = k ? r ? 1. Keywords : transport modelling, trip length distribution, sample, sample quality.

Abstract

The use of additives originating from nature in the form of latex (rubber latex) and charcoal ash from coconut shells is expected to be a solution in improving the quality of road pavement. Latex (rubber latex) substitution of 1%, 2% and 3% and charcoal ash of 1%; 1.5%; and 2% were used in this research, with the aim of determining the effect of additives on asphalt properties values based on the 2018 Bina Marga Specifications. In the penetration test there was a decrease with an optimum substitution of 59.1 at a proportion of 2% latex and 1.5% charcoal ash. . In flash point and burn point tests, the addition of latex and charcoal ash caused the asphalt to heat up more quickly at lower temperatures than asphalt without additional ingredients. In testing the flash point and burning point, the optimum substitution was 1% latex and 1.5% charcoal ash. Meanwhile, in the ductility test, with the substitution of 1% latex and 1.5% charcoal ash, a ductility value of 105 mm was obtained. From several tests, it was concluded that the optimum substitution was for the 2% latex variant and 1.5% charcoal ash. These results meet the 2018 Bina Marga Specifications

Abstract

The development of Griya Aster Residence without considering transportation aspects has led to issues such as traffic congestion in the Legok area. The road access in Griya Aster Residence was designed without considering trip generation calculations. This studyaims to determine trip generation model, calculate the total of trip generation, and analyze the factors effecting trip generation in Griya Aster Residence, Legok, Tangerang Municipal. The research method used was a household interview regarding the number of family members, monthly income, number of working individuals, number of school-age individuals, vehicle ownership, monthly transportation cost, and daily trips made by each family member. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression method used SPSS 25.0 software with significant level 95%. The trip generation model obtained for Griya Aster Residence is Y = -0,327 + 0,514 X1 + 0,398 X3 + 0,012 X4 + 0,580 X5 with R2 (R square) = 0,618. The total trip generation for Griya Aster Residence is 763 trips/day, based on the t-Test with a significant value of <0,05, the factors influencing trip generation in Griya Aser Residence includes the number of family members, monthly income, number of working individuals, number of school-age individuals, vehicle ownership, and monthly transportation costs.
